My Worst Nightmare

(y/n) took her sheathed sword and tuck it behind her. She grabbed her caped and wear it behind her, hiding her sword. She took everything she needs for her solo mission for that day.

Eventhough (y/n) never been promoted to a jounin rank, but her abilities allow her to participate in solo missions. She had done a lot of solo missions too before.

She walked out from her room and head to the kitchen to make some breakfast for her brothers. She fried three eggs and made a lot of pancakes too. Her mother was still at the hospital while her father was in a mission. They will be back any minute now. That's why she made a lot of pancakes before she leaves.

"Are you going on a mission today, Nee-san?" Iori suddenly appeared and hugged his sister from behind. He showed her that pretty smile of his.

"Um, I still have times before I go, that's why I'm making these" she showed him what she made just now. She's making some dessert and dangos too.

"What mission are you up to, (y/n)?" Mitsuki asked her while he's giving his sister a hand. He helped her set up the table and arranged the plates.

"Just a normal mission", (y/n) answered while putting a plate of caramel pudding with two scoops of ice cream for the toppings in front of Iori.

"Solo mission?"

"Yup".

(y/n) put three stacks of pancake on a plate and drizzle it with chocolate syrup on it. She put two scoops of ice cream on it and sprinkles a lot chocolate chips on it.

"Nee-san... Why pudding? For breakfast?" Iori is was so confused with her behavior that morning. Besides, pudding for breakfast! That's beyond strange!

"Happy birthday, Iori. You're turning eight today, right?" (y/n) ruffled Iori's hair with a sweet smile on her face.

"Thank you, Nee-san! I thought that you forgot about it!" Iori exclaimed excitedly and hugged her tightly.

"How can I forgot about your birthday? You're my one and only little brother. And I'll always love you, Iori", (y/n) hugged him back and kissed his head.

"Uuhh, (y/n)..."

"Owh, yeah! Congratulations, Nii-san on your chunnin promotion", she said and patted Mitsuki's back.

"(y-y/n)! Thank you so much!" Mitsuki hugged her real tight until it's hard for her to breath.

"You always know what I liked the most, (y/n)! Chocolates and more chocolates!"

"Eat up, both of you", (y/n) said with a smile while she's making a bento for Iori for him at the academy. She also made one for Itachi. A bento full of dango.

They ate together with a smile in each faces. That morning was so good and nice. Mitsuki clean up the table as a 'thank you' sign at his sister.

"You guys better come back home early, okay", (y/n) said while get ready to go for her mission. Iori needs to go to the academy while Mitsuki was in his day off.

"What is it? Another surprise or something? I bet you already prepared for everything, huh", Mitsuki gave her a smirk.

She replied it with a mischievous smile and went out quickly. She wanted to get this mission done quickly and go home early tonight. Plus, her mission for today was so easy and simple!

(y/n) walked to the ANBU base and enter the locker room. She looked around her and she didn't see Itachi at all.

"Maybe he's on his day off today" (y/n) let out a small sigh and put the two bento box that she brought with her in her locker.
