CAMERON'S POV

Claire and I sat next to each other in first class on the plane. She was drinking champagne and I was drinking sparkling water. As everyone boarded, we were served little snack. Since I've never been in first class before, it was all very exciting. They had foot rests and the seats reclined.

The flight left at 9 in the morning so I was super tired because I had to get up really early and I fell asleep pretty late. So just about immediately, I fell asleep.

I woke up to lunch being served. Apparently I was dead asleep for three hours. I had steak and Claire had chicken. The food was so good and warm! I couldn't wait to fly all around the world like this.

After we finished, I got up to go to the bathroom. Plane bathrooms always scared me because of the noise they made when they flush. I know it sounds childish, but that thing is hella loud.

I slowly walked back to the seat and was stopped by a sudden strumming of a guitar. I looked around to see where it was coming from and noticed everyone else was looking too. That was good, at least it wasn't in my head.

As I started to walk back to my seat confused, a man my height got up and stopped me.

Niall.

"You're so pretty, when you cry, when you cry. Wasn't ready to hear you say goodbye. Now you're tearing me apart, tearing me apart, you're tearing me apart." He grabbed my hand whilst singing and pulled me down the aisle staring into my eyes each second of it. When he finished he twirled into the unoccupied seat that we were standing next to.

Just as he sat down, another boy with very dark brown hair and blonde highlights got up, "You're so London, your own style, your own style

And together, we're so good, so girl why are you tearing me apart?

Tearing me apart? You're tearing me apart." He pulled me to the middle of economy and sat down.

Then from the very back, a young boy with very curly brown hair raced towards me, "Did I do something stupid? Yeah girl if I blew it, just tell me what I did, let's work through this. There's gotta be someway to get you want me, like before. Cuz' no one ever looked-" he backed me up to first class. And I was turned around towards Niall.

"So good in a dress and it hurts cuz' I know you won't be mine tonight. No one ever makes me feel like you do when you smile, baby tell me how to make it right. Yeah, all of friends say, it's not really worth it. But even if that's true, no one in the world could stop me from not moving on baby even if I wanted to. Nobody compares to you!" He had my chin in his palm as he serenaded me. My body was stiff and I couldn't swat him away. People watched in excitement at the whole surprise. I managed to look at Claire, who seemed completely confused. The song finished and Niall took me to my seat. Or more like he pushed me there.

"Why don't we give One Direction a big round of applause for that lovely surprise performance!" A flight attendant spoke on the overhead. The whole plane clapped and clapped. Instead, I managed to flip Niall off.

I sat down and looked at Claire. Niall was hovering over her. "Erm, ma'am? I believe this is my seat." He showed her his boarding pass ad Claire's face reddened. She got up to switch seats where he was sitting before and Niall sat down.

Immediately, I got up searching for an empty seat. I went back and forth the whole plane twice.

There wasn't a single seat.

I trudged myself back to my seat and sat down next to Niall.

"What did ya think?" He said in his heavy Irish accent; one that I used to have.

"Why are you doing this." I demanded.

"Your voice...it's British..." He looked surprised.

"Yeah, that happens after a while. Why are you doing this." I needed an answer, desperately.

"Because your important to me, Cam." He leaned in to touch my face with the back of his hand. I swatted it away.

"You didn't care before so don't act like you do now. You've done enough damage, Niall." I sternly said. I didn't dare look up into his blue eyes.

"That's why I'm here-I need to fix this." He tried.

"No, Niall! You can't fix these things anymore! Like my family! I barely have a family anymore because of you. I haven't talked to them since us. That can be undone."

"I need you, Cameron. I don't know why I was being so stupid for letting you go. You mean the world to me." He tried to push my hair behind my ear. I wouldn't allow him.

Those words stung. He meant the world to me back then, now my job means the world to me. Not him.

"I have a job and a life. You do too. Stop trying to ruin all that I have! You left me with nothing. I can't go back to that place."

"I'm sorry, Cam."

"That was three years overdue. Now please don't ruin the flight for me as well." I turned onto my side and closed my eyes.

This was going to be a long flight.
