Chapter 6- Part 3

CAMERON'S POV

I set the coffee down on the table.

"That's basically it." My eyes watered but I didn't let them leak. They all stared at me in complete silence.

"Wow." Skylar blurted trying to break the ice.

"Yeah, that's um- awful!" Chandler said looking for the right word to use.

"I'm sorry, Cam. Do you know what your going to do?" Asked Maya.

"I don't know. Eleanor thinks I should talk to him." I fiddled with my shirt and gridded my teeth.

"Don't. It will hurt you even more, Cam." Maya pointed out. Chandler nodded. She may be right. Just seeing him broke me apart but if talked to him, who knows what would happen.

"I think you should. It was a messy breakup. Your love life can't be left a mess; if you talk to him, you might be able to move on." Skylar could also be right. They're both right! Why did this have to be so complicated?

Apparently, I was thinking aloud and Skylar took my hand, "Do what you want to do. Do what you think is best."

"I-I think I want to..." I didn't know what I wanted to do. I guess talking to him would be the best for me, but I think I need some time. I guess that's what I'll do. I repeated the idea to the girls and they agreed, as long as I do talk to him later. "You guys are the best. I have a lot of work do to to get ready to move into my new office now but I'll see you later?"

"Sure! Love you Cam!" They said kissing my cheek and leaving the flat. I sighed and got to work.
