Chapter 40: going home

{Skyler's POV}

I was laying in mine and Grey's room looking at the ceiling waiting for Grey to come back telling me that we are going home. The door opened and I looked over as Zack walks in and I frowned.

"Wheres Grey?" I asked and Zack sat down next to me in a chair.

"Trying to reason with his brother on leaving" Zack said sighing. "Are you mad or upset at me?" Zack asked and looked at me.

"No" I said and he exhaled. The door to the room slammed open then it shut and Zack looked over his shoulder. Grey walked around and looked at Zack and me.

"Sorry" Grey said "we are stuck here for the time being" Grey said I growled. I started getting up, Grey stopped me and gently pushes me back down. "And your stuck laying in bed" Grey said and I frowned.

"Then someone grab Lucas and drag him here" I growled but stopped because it hurts to much.

"Ill go get him" Grey said and got up. As Grey left, Zack looked at me and sighed.

"Im sorry" he said and I shrugged. "I should have told you" he said.

"Its fine Zack. Right now I just want to go home" I said and Zack nodded. The door opened and Lucas walked in with Grey behind him.

"Im sorry Skyler but you guys can't leave" Lucas said and I frowned.

"I want to go home Lucas" I said and he nodded.

"I understand that you want to but you can't not with all the cold ones around" Lucas said and I frowned.

"So what Im a weapon now??" I asked and Lucas frowned then Grey blinked. "Im not doing it again. You saw what happened" I said "it almost killed me I just want to go home" I said getting frustrated.

"You are not a weapon, its safer to stay here then to go back to your land." Lucas said.

"But there's no cold ones on my land" Grey said "we are going home Rhydian can't handle all alpha duties any longer" he added. Lucas sighed and rubbed his face.

"Fine" Lucas says "go home" he said walks out of the room. Grey sighs and rubbed his face.

"You know. Both you and your brother do that when your stressed or annoyed." I said, Grey looks at me with an eyebrow raised.

"Do what?" He asked and Zack laughed.

"You both rub your face when you are stressed or annoyed" Zack said laughing and Grey frowns.

"We do not" Grey says and both me and Zack nods.

"You do" I say and laughed. Grey frowned. "Here let me show you. Zack your phone" I say and Zack pulled out his phone and unlocks it then hands it to me. I scroll through his gallery and stopped when I found a picture. I was staring at the photo when both boys coughed.

"Sky? Baby you okay?" Grey asked and I looked up. I didn't notice that I was crying until Grey wiped my face.

"Y-yeah" I said and Zack took his phone back and looked at the photo. He looks at me and I look back.

"That was you when you were 1, I was was 2" Zack said "this was taken a week before you were taken. Or so mom told me" Zack said. He handed me the phone and I looked at it again, then kept scrolling. I found a picture of Lucas rubbing his face when he was younger and showed Grey who frowned.

"Ok he did it when he was younger" he said but I showed Grey a photo of Lucas now rubbing his face and raised an eyebrow. "Ok.." He said slowly "doesn't mean we don't rub our face when stressed or annoyed" Grey said then I showed Grey him rubbing his face and grinned. "Zack why the heck do you have theses photos?" Grey asked.

"Because I can" Zack shrugged.

"Go pack you dimwit we leave once we are done." Grey said and Zack left. Grey started to pack our things. Once Grey was done Zack walks in with his stuff and he went to grab our stuff so Grey can grab me.

"I told Silas, Jax and Malcolm we were leaving along with Tyler and Anastasia" Zack said as Grey picked me and we walked to the castle entrance and walked to the jet to go home. I was laying on Grey's lap asleep when Grey shook me.

"Hey time to wake up we are almost home" Grey said and I looked up at him.

"Are we home yet?" I asked and he smiled.

"Almost baby" he said "then we will have a pack meeting but first we need to get you to Balto" Grey said but I shook my head and got up slowly.

"No im fine, ava and crystal both are working on getting me healed. Lets get the pack meeting done." I said and Grey nodded.

"If you say so." He said, we landed and we all walked off the jet, Zack was the first one off, then Grey and then I was last off the jet. Everyone was gathered to welcome us home they all bowed their heads in respect towards me and Grey as we walked towards the pack house.

"Pack meeting everyone now" Zack said and everyone pilled into the pack house. Grey and I were sitting at the long table in the middle, Zack was on my left and Rhydian was on Grey's right.

"Everything went smooth correct Rhydian?" Grey asked and Rhydian nodded. "Good. Now" he said and looks at everyone in the pack "I have some good news and some bad news. Well two good news and one bad news" Grey said "first, the bad news" Grey said and stood up.

"What's going on?" Someone asked and Grey sighed.

"The cold ones have been attacking the castle. But we needed to leave since we have plans here and we didn't want to postpone anything." Grey said everyone started shouting. Zack put a hand up to silence everyone but it didn't work.

"EVERYONE SHUT UP!" I yelled and everyone went silent and looks at me. "Thank you. Continue Grey" I said and Grey nodded.

"Time for a few good news" Grey said and everyone looked back at Grey "first off, only a handful of people know this but our pack is officially the strongest pack in Greenland. Thanks to me and skyler." Grey said and everyone clapped. "With that being said.... We will be getting new members that are not werewolves. But are angels and demons" Grey said and everyone started shouting again.

"HEY!" I yelled and they look at me again. "That's enough. The reason why we are getting theses new members is because Grey and I are the king and queen of the angels and demons. We are a angel and demon" I said and everyone looked at Grey and me.

"Exactly and we will treat them with respect like we do to each other. Next, we all know Zack has been looking for his sister that got taken away when she was 1" Grey said and everyone nodded. "Zack maybe the beta but he is now going to become my brother an law. Skyler is Zacks little sister" Grey said and everyone gasped and Zack put a hand on my shoulder.
