Chapter 9: after ceremony

I showed everyone that Grey has claimed me to be his Luna, I closed my eyes and heard cheers through out the pack, everyone was cheering, I put my jacket back on and turned around I opened my eyes I was a Luna, Luna Skyler. I looked over at Grey who was smiling and puts his hands up to silence everyone, everyone got quite and watched Grey and me, I got embarrassed once Grey turned to me.

"Skyler, I promise to hold you when you are sad, to make you happy, to treat you the way a queen should be treated" he said and I blinked, then he got on one knee and I covered my mouth. "Will you please marry me to become Skyler moon?" He asked.

'did he really just asked that??' Crystal said and I felt her tail wagging.

'yup... Should I say it?' I asked.

'well duh! Say yes!' she claims and I uncover my mouth smiling.

"Yes!" I said and Grey grabbed the ring and put it on my ring finger then he picked me up and spun my around. The crowd went wilded with cheers, Grey sat me down and kissed me right in front of everyone claiming me as his own, and that no one is allowed to touch me. Then panic fell, some wolves from another pack can into the pack house. I watched as this pack alpha came through, my eyes widen and I hid behind Grey, I tugged on Grey's shirt, he looks at me.

"Grey it's Alex" I mumbled and Grey looked at Alex and growled.

"Alpha Grey" he said respectfully.

"Alpha Alex" Grey said back "what are you doing on my land?" Grey asked.

"I came to see your new Luna, I need to keep up with my fellow alphas" Alex's voice sounded bored. 

"No you don't, what are you really doing here?" Grey asked.

"I told you I'm here to meet your packs Luna besides that I'm just passing through" Alex answered back, I noticed everyone against the walls away from Alex.

"If you meet her will you leave my land and never come back?" Grey asked.

"Of course I promise" Alex said smriking.

"You and your pack, no one else is to leave my land, just you and your pack" Grey growled.

"Yes yes I promise now where is your Luna" Alex waved him off Grey got some warriors to make a line between me and Alex, then once the warriors made the line I stepped out behind Grey. "Skyler" Alex said one of Alex's pack members move to grab me but Alex held up an hand telling him to stop. Then Alex clicked his tounge, "she never will be a good Luna Grey she's too weak, she never talks" Alex said and I frowned.

"She's going to be a great Luna" Grey said. Then I remembered my alpha voice makes alpha's listen to me and I smiled.

"What are you smiling about?" Alex asked and I stepped in front of Grey.

"You will leave this land now and never come back, you and your wolf pack are not welcomed here and never will be, now leave" I said in my alpha voice and Alex eyes widen, he blinked and growled. I growled back louder then him, his growls sounded like a pup against mine, he backed down. 

"Fine" he said and turned around and walked out along with his pack behind him. I felt light headed and grabbed onto Grey's arm, he looked at me and grabs me tightly.

"Someone get doctor balto! Now!" Grey roared and people started running out to get the doctor. My vision starts to fade out. I heard someone running towards us and a face was in my face watching me then fingers lightly pressed against my neck and my vision turns black.

My eyes start to open slowly, my head was pounding and I groaned in the pain, I felt someone grab my hand.

"Thank goodness you are awake" I heard someone say but I don't know who said it. My eyes finally opened all the way but I saw nothing but black.

"Why is the room so dark?" I asked the person holding my hand and they froze.

"Skyler the rooms all lit up" the person said, I heard footsteps.

"Ah your awake. How do you feel Luna?" The person asked me.

"I'm having a hard time seeing, so I don't know who is all here" I said.

"What do you mean by your having a hard time seeing?" The person asked and I turned my head.

"Everything is black, do you mind telling me who is in the room?" I asked.

"I am doctor balto, and the one holding your hand is your mate alpha Grey" balto said.

"Grey?" I asked.

"Yup I'm right here" he said I started crying or at least I think I started crying

"Don't worry Luna I can get your vision back in no time. I promise you that you will be able to see very soon." Balto said and I nodded. "Just lay down and I'll get everything else done" balto said and I laid down, Grey let go of my hand.

"I will be out in the hall if you need anything" he said and kissed my forehead and then he was gone. I felt like I was being stabed, then I was falling, I had no way of grabbing anything I was just falling, then everything went black again.

The next time I woke up my head was pounding even more and I groaned grabbing my head but someone stopped me.

"Skyler it's okay. Your head hurts from the surgery" I heard Grey say, I sat up but he pushed me back down, I slowly opened my eyes and everything was bright. I kept opening my eyes slowly until they adjusted to the light. Once my eyes were fully open I moved them around to look around, Grey was next to me holding my hands, doctor balto was walking over to check up on me.

"Ah how are you feeling?" He asked.

"Much better thank you" I said, he bowed his head in respect.

"I'm glad to hear." He said looking at some papers.

"How long was I out for?" I asked and Grey looked down.

"About 2 days maybe longer" Grey answered, he looked tired like he hasn't slept in weeks, he yawned and smiled tiredly. Doctor balto looked at us and smiled.

"Skyler you may go home now. But no movement for at least 2 or 3 weeks your on bed rest until I say otherwise" doctor balto said and I nodded. Grey got up and started to lift me up so he can carry me home but I shook my head.

"Grey you look like you haven't slept in weeks you need rest" I said he shook his head.

"I haven't slept since you fainted two days ago. I can't sleep without you" he said.

"So you haven't slept, you need sleep, tell Zack to take over for the rest of the day, the Luna is making you get some rest" I said and Grey sighed.

"Alright you win" he went silent for a few minutes and then he began to carry me home. Once home we walked straight to the room and Grey placed me in bed with the covers on took off his shoes, and shirt and crawled in next to me, we both fell asleep.
