Hindi bagay

"Mandy, are you gonna attend the acquaintance party on Saturday? OMG! I'm like super excited na already," Darcy shrieked in a low voice since we're in the library.

"What?" she asked innocently when I just stared at her.

Sumama kasi siya sa akin mag-aral dito sa main library pero daldal lang naman siya nang daldal.

"Hey, Don't make titig to me like that, naman. I was just asking. Like, I could lend you some clothes if you want. You're a bit taller but some outfits in my closet would look perfect on you. OMG, I would be very happy if you'd attend. I'm super duper excited!"

"Mag-aral ka na lang muna, Darcy. Daldal mo masyado."

"Hmmmp! That's why you needed to attend, Mands. You're too serious! You also have to chill naman. You're like super tutok sa aral and part-time. We all deserve to enjoy. You deserve to enjoy. Let's live our lives. Super fuck college if we're not gonna enjoy our hell years here," she complained.

"I could do your hair and make-up," she suggested while she placed her pen on her upper lip, trying to balance it while pouting.

"Titignan ko pa," I replied as I sticked my nose back to the book in front of me para tigilan na niya ako.

"Ay, grabe siya. Flavio would attend kaya. I already asked him," she tried to convince me even more. "There's a lot of gwapong freshmen. Maybe our first ever boyfriend in college would be in that acquaintance party, don't you think?"

"Medyo maharot, Darcy," sabi ko naman.

"Slight lang naman," she said chuckling.

I've known her for less than a week but we were already this close. Feeling close kasi talaga 'tong isang 'to... And I must admit that it's nice having her conyo ass around.

"Look at Bryce over there," sabay nguso niya sa bandang kanan ko. Hindi talaga nauubusan ng topic, 'to.

"He looked hot with his specs pala. He's matalino like you. Salutatorian of his batch. Ship ko sana kayo but he's like an asshole kasi, e. You're not allowed to like have a crush on him. Big no, babe, ha?"

Rodriguez looked serious while he's typing things on his laptop. Books were everywhere on his table. Nag-aaral pala 'to? Hmmm, seryoso nga talaga siya. Sabagay, hindi maipagkakailang may utak naman siya, halata naman iyon sa mga sagot niya sa recitation.

He still looked... uhm, good in his black sweatshirt and khaki shorts. Gold chain necklace surrounds his neck and of course, he never missed his signature black earring. Tinaas pa nito ang mga paa niya sa katapat na upuan at humilig. Akala mo'y nasa bahay lang at pag-aari ang eskwelahan.

Kanina pa ba siya riyan? 'Di ko naman siya napansin agad kasi tutok ako sa pagbabasa rito. Himala atang wala siyang kinakalantiring babae ngayon?

Teka, ano bang pake ko?

"Sumuko ka na, hawak ko pamilya mo," napasinghap ako nang may pumiring sa mga mata ko.
