the sun haven't even fully show itself yet, but hwasung is already wide awake.
it's the d-day of sports week. the opening ceremony will start at 8.30 am. as a member of committee, hwasung is expected to be at school way before the opening ceremony.
she immediately cleaned herself and wore her uniform. not to forget an id card hanging around her neck to show that she's a committee and students who need help can ask her.
hwasung grabbed her phone and power bank then proceed to shove them into her bag.
both of her parents are already at the dining room when hwasung went down. "this week will be a tiring one for you dear isn't it?" her mom said as she brought a sandwich and milk for hwasung. "yeah," hwasung said as she sat down. "but i believe it will be exciting as well."
hwasung then looked at her phone and saw the that it has past 6.30 am. her eyes widened as she immediately drink down her milk and brought the sandwich with her. "mom, dad, i need to leave now, i need to arrive by 7," she said as hurriedly went to the front door.
hwasung ran to the bus stop while eating her sandwich. absurd. but hwasung doesn't care.
by the time she arrived the bus stop, she's running out of breath. she has both of her hands on her knees to support her own body. "oh my god i arrived just on time," she said to herself. because the bus arrived not long after hwasung's arrival.
she went into the bus and scanned her bus card. then she walked to the back of the bus and sat by the window.
fifteen minutes later she finally arrived at her dearest school. she immediately went to the student auditorium as the opening ceremony will be held there and before that the committee and the student council will have a short briefing.

"i think that's all for today, i hope everyone can do their respective jobs well. for the first aid team, i hope y'all can act quick when someone is injured. the committee, for those who's gonna be at the court i hope y'all do your jobs well, be an efficient person. while for those who's gonna roam around the school, i hope you guys can help out all of the guests with a smile and manner. as for the student council, y'all know your jobs i don't have to remind you again do i?" doyoung, the student council president said.
everyone nodded in reply. "okay good," he said. "it's now 8 am past few minutes," doyoung said while looking at his watch. "i believe there are few students from the other school who had arrived and waits at the school entrance. so now go and welcome them. then guide them to the auditorium so we can start the ceremony soon," doyoung ordered.
everyone quickly exit the auditorium and headed to the entrance to do their respective jobs.

"good morning everyone," doyoung said with a mic on his hand, standing in the middle of the stage. "it's such a great honor for me to stand here today to open the ceremony. firstly let me introduce myself. the name is kim doyoung, i am namkyung highschool student council president. it's such a pleasure for us to have students from different schools here today to join us on our sports week. i welcome everyone and i hope we can have a good relationship with each other. we will try to give the best hospitality we can give. if you need any help, just look for our committee who's wearing an id card. they will gladly help you. now, let's officially starts the sports week!"
the students then were asked to stand up and sang the national anthem to officially start the event.
after that, the committee started to usher the guests students to the respective courts.
"ahrin!" hwasung shouted when she saw her friend among the crowd. she then walked to her. "goodluck," hwasung said as she patted ahrin's shoulder. ahrin smiled. "will do," she answered. "now go do your job."
hwasung laughed. "okay then, see you around!" she said as she walked away.
