22. Unexpected Visit

[MARK'S POV]

I try so hard to sleep but all I'm thinking about is how I can fix things with me and Jason. I don't even know if he will give me the chance to explain myself to him

Maybe Jessica is the closest source I can get to Jason. I grab my cracked phone and call Jessica "mark hey" she said sounding like I just woke her up from her slumber "Jessica hey do you have a minute" I asked hoping she has the time

"ah yeah of cause what's up" she asked and I toke a minute to gather all the infor that is about to go down "ah is is Jason okay" I asked stuttering a bit

"well nah his not doing good. He might not come to school tomorrow" she said and I felt my right eyeball releasing a tear "M mark" she spoke because of my silent behavior "ah yeah look Jessica Jason doesn't want to answer my calls his been hanging up on me I get why but I really have to tell him something important" I said wipping the tear away

"why doesn't he want to answer your calls that's weird. Mark can I ask you something" she asked and "Yeah" is all I said

"what happened between you and Jason after the party on Friday. I saw you two holding hands at the back of the house while walking inside the house" she asked as I slowly widened my eyes at each and every word she said

I thought of what I can say so she wouldn't be suspicious "what we were just ah we were I mean he was too drunk to walk on his own so I just helped him that's all" I said hoping she bought it

"ohh okay that makes sense. I mean that's why you two were making out too right" she said in a sarcastic tone

"what! We didn't do that what are you talking about" I said shocked that she could have seen us

"mark look remember how I told about how Jason was taking away from me by that Hannah girl" she asked and "yes" is all I said in response "well I was walking around and this guy called Christian and he was showing me around and we came across you and Jason definitely making out at the back off the house" she said and I completely froze

"M mark" Jessica said. I sigh then answer "Yeah it's true look long story short I couldn't stand Marcus calling me a faggot and I dated Sofia to prove him wrong about me. I never really like or loved Sofia at all but I'm ashamed to say that I've been using her just to clear my name. I kissed Jason at the party cause I really like really like him and I just want so bad to kiss him. Anyway he slept over at my house and no we didn't do anything. Sofia called me and she asked me to meet her and spend some time with her. I figured it maybe the time to tell Sofia the whole truth and I said said yes I would see her. Jason probably thought I wanted to have fun with her so he got angry and left. No he doesn't answer my calls"

i said sniffing and crying to myself "damn I mean I've never seen that much drama in any other couple in my life" she said and I wanted to laugh but couldn't "Yeah I think he broke things off me and him" I said "shout up your two were already dating" she did with complete shock "not anymore" I replied "well I'll try to convince him to have this conversation with you" she said

"Yeah thanks but please don't force him into anything okay. Just don't make me look desperate like I already am" I said and she burst out laughing "okay I'll do my best" with that being sad our chat was over then I fell asleep

Mason joins my in my slamber and as usual he climb I'm my chest and being to sleep. I hold him tight the slowly sleep

I walk down stairs and see Maya and mom chatting I walk up to them "oh honey mark morning" mom said and "morning guys" I  said sitting on the dining room table

I could see Maya in that awkward position when ever our eyes met each other. I eat the food mom made this morning then search for my keys in my pockets. I didn't find them. so I went up stairs and into my room and I found them on top of the dresser
