28. Reconnections

Morning I say taking a seat on the dining table with mom and voronica

"hey" voronica said drinking the coffee from the cup in her hand

"look whose early" mom said making other cups of coffee

I see Jason coming down after a few minutes and his wearing the clothes I left for him. I look at him as he makes his way down the stairs. He spots me gazing at him and he smirk. I look away only to see mom looking at me and Jason as we're acting like kids which we are in a way

Now it's awkward for me. I'm still not used that mom sees me blushing over other guys. That I have a boyfriend. What if she's acting like she's cool with it but truly she's disgusted whenever I'm near Jason especially about the sex thing she heard last night

I shake all the attacking thoughts in my head as mom hands me and Jason our cups of coffee

"Thank you for the outfit" Jason says leaning to kiss my four head

"I'm glade you like it" I say leaning back. I just can't mom was looking at me it weird for me to let her see me doing things like this with Jason

Jason frowns a bit and looks at me for a second asking me what's wrong with his eyes

I just sip my coffee "so ah jason talk to me who asked who out first" mom asked sitting comfortably on the chair. Jason looks at her with eyes widened to the unexpected question but voronica just chuckled at the question

"mom!!!!!!" I say embarrassed

"what.... Just asking jeez" she say holding her hands up in surrender

"ah no it's fine huh..... So I saw mark at the parking lot on my first day of school.. He was in Mike's car.. I though he was hot or cute or whatever but the point is!!"....i asked him if he would be my partner here in this house now sure when but he told me"

"Jason!!" I say as the embarrassment continues

"mark it's not a big deal" Jason replied and continued "as I was saying I asked him to be my boyfriend here and he said he doesn't date guys you know....... It hurt but at the same time I accepted the fact that it is what it is..... Days pastest and if I remember correctly he kissed me at Josh's house party" he said as mom and voronica listened

I hide my face by looking down at the cup of coffee staring the it with the tea spoon

"and it was then when you knew he liked you too" mom asked

"well yeah" he said

"and what happened... Tell us I'm sure the story continues" voronica added

"Yeah but it's a long story" Jason said

"we aren't going anywhere" mom said. I look at him begging rather pleading with my face so he wouldn't tell

"ah you guys don't want to hear our boring story" he said and I was kinda relieved

"don't be silly tell us"

He looks at me with a sorry expression on his face and talks

"ah after the party I slept here and it was a friday if I remember correctly because I was too drunk to even tell mark the way to my house. The next morning Mark told me why I was in this house and I decided to add another day and sleep here since I enjoyed his company and I didn't want to leave. we watched a horror movie and mark got scared at everything in the house you should have seen his face. The next morning on Sunday Mike came over and Sofia called Mark asking him to go to her. I waited to see if he would still continue his relationship with her or maybe stay with me.... I heard him tell her that he would see her and I got angry and mad and felt played so I felt the house and went house "

"so that's why you come home crying" voronica commented

"no I wasn't crying" he defended looking at me as I chuckle with mom

"later on he explained that he only said yest to see Sofia so he can tell her that his not into her and into someone she wouldn't have expected. I felt so bad cause I didn't even let him explain himself anyway we made up and came yesterday when things were getting heated in my bedroom that's when dad saw us and hit mark and kicked me and voronica out of the house and now marks mom was so accepting of mark and so kind enough to let us stay in her house" Jason finished

"awwh your welcome" mom said

"you know I think your a good son good boyfriend and a good friend....i heard your little conversation with Mark when he went over at your bedroom. You seemed to care about him"

"I'm sorry I went to his room" Jason apologized

"no no it not a problem after what I heard to say to him I believe and trust you. The words you said to him sawed me that my boy is in good hands" mom said looking at Jason directly in the eye

"anyway I have to go now I have a meeting in an hour so please voronica I'm trusting you with my house your in charge" she said walking out

"wow it not even a day since she knew me and she's trusting me with her house... Well I must be a trusted person" voronica say looking at us and we laugh

Hours passed while we sit and chill in the house

A knock on the door grabs my attention and I walk to it smiling a bite at Mason running and bucking at it. My pace slows a bite as I see him... Jason's dad standing there with an unreadable expression on his face

"what's wrong mark" Jason asked and stops looking at the door

He motions me to stand behind him as he speak without opening the door..

"what do you want?" he questions

"son I'm sorry son please open the door" he Beggs with his breaking voice standing tiredly while holding himself again the glass door

I see voronica quitely standing in the far distance sharply looking at the man

After a moment of silence Jason finally opens the door and stands right in the door way preventing his dad to walk through

"Jason son come with me and your mother so we can talk about this at home" he says reaching out his hand to hold Jason

"don't" Jason softly says it almost came out as nothing

"voronica. Voronica dear come I'm sorry honey I you know I didn't mean any of those words I said to you right

Voronica stands there not saying anything

"dad can we talk later now really isn't a good time"

"OK ok but please call me.. Ah tell your friend that I'm sorry too"

He said walking away and into his car
