~*Chapter Twelve*~

- - Annabeth's POV - -

What we didn't notice is that a silver eye had opened. I rushed towards Percy along with Harper and Hazel. "Oh my gods.. what have they done to you..." I murmured as I stroked my boyfriends face.

"You'll never make it out alive! Execute Order 23." shouted the man. His troop had fled in fear, so this guy has guts.

As soon as we were flashed to Olympus Percy sprang from Tyson's arms and launched into the air. He grabbed Riptide and controlled the water around us to sweep us off our feet.

"Percy?! Stop this right now!" Piper shouted  while she unsheathed Katropis. Her charmspeak had a small effect on Percy, because he had landed and dropped Riptide.

His face showed no emotion as he advanced towards the team. His wings flexed as he punched Jason in the face. Jason fell, unconscious while Piper screamed in outrage.

Percy didn't even flinch when she stabbed her knife into his shoulder. "GUYS! This isn't Percy! Don't fight him! Get the tranquilizers!" I shouted as Percy's glassy stare met my gaze. Percy then swept Piper off her feet with his wings and threw her into a wall.

"NO!" shouted Hazel as she commanded the minerals around her to fly at Percy. He shielded himself with his wings and then kicked Hazel into the wall.

Frank had turned into an elephant and ran towards Percy. He tried to escape the elephants path, but ended up being trampled. Percy started coughing up blood and a wing and a leg had been broken.

Percy slowly got to his feet and limped towards his sword and then stumbled towards the elephant. One wing dragged behind him but his face showed no sign of pain. "You don't ever give up, do you Percy?" said Frank, who had turned back into a human and had picked up the dart gun.

Percy's stare flickered when he heard his name. He stopped walking and covered his ears and squeezed his eyes shut. "STOP IT! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" he shouted. Frank walked towards Percy and lowered the dart gun.

"Percy, we're the good guys.... We're you're friends! You have to-" Frank was stopped short when Percy stabbed Riptide into his leg and punched Frank. Frank fell, unconscious as well.

Harper and I were the only ones left. "GUMMYBEAR ITS ME AND ANNABETH! SNAP.OUT.OF.IT!" screamed Harper, as she started running towards him.

Percy whipped around and stared at Harper, who was running right towards him. He fell to his knees and gripped his hair. "No...nononono!" he mumbled. His glassy stare broke as Harper ran right past him and grabbed the dart gun from Frank's hand.

Percy has tears running down his face while his whole body trembled. "W-What have I done.." he said, and dropped Riptide with a clang. Harper shot the dart gun at Percy. He turned around and met our gazes. "I-I'm so.... s-sorry.." he mumbled before passing out.

Harper shrieked and ran to Percy. She was sobbing uncontrollably as she put his head in her lap. I ran to them as well and hugged Harper.

"You did the right thing. He was in pain, and so were we. You were very brave." I said to Harper. She shook her head and laid on Percy's chest. "I-I didn't want to... h-he doesn't deserve this.. please get my brother back..." she sobbed.

I nodded and kissed Percy's forehead, then stroked his chin. Harper looked at me and raised an eyebrow. "W-wait.. are you guys.. dating?!" she exclaimed, while clapping her hands.

I nodded as Harper squealed. "My sister is getting married! And then I'm gonna be an Auntie! And then..." Harper rambled on and on while I blushed. Wouldn't that be a nice future...

Poseidon, Apollo, and Athena all flashed in on the scene. Apollo gathered stretchers for our friends, who started waking up while Poseidon and Athena came to our aid.

"What happened here?" questioned Poseidon. Harper and I explained what happened while Poseidon picked up his son. Tyson came barging in. "What I miss?!" he shouted.
