.||Subject Five||.

~*Chapter Fifteen*~

- - Annabeth's POV - -

It's been about a whole week since we've seen Percy. We haven't been able to see him because Apollo didn't want to have any more trouble. I'm super excited because today we finally get to see him and he'll be done with his treatment!

My friends and I planned a movie night sleepover starring Percy's favorite movie, Finding Nemo. Piper and Frank set out the snacks while Jason worked the TV and lighting. Hazel and Harper were decorating and I was supervising the whole thing. "Erm, Hazel put that a little more to the left." I said.

Hazel rolled her eyes but did as she was told. I walked over to the snack table and nodded in approval at the blue cookies and candies. "Pop some popcorn too!" I added. Everything has to be perfect for my Seaweed Brain!

Once everyone was settled and in their pajamas, we sat down and talked. Everyone had their own couch which was different from the others. Piper was snuggled up next to Jason on their pink couch that was full of pillows and blankets.

Hazel's head was on Frank's lap on their orange couch. It also has fluffy pillows and blankets. Then there was me, quietly waiting patiently for Percy to join me on our blue couch. It had lots of pillows and blankets that were grey and even a few finding Nemo stuffed animals that Percy would love.

Harper wasn't here, because she was sleeping. It was already pretty late, about 8:45 pm. "Hey Annie, you excited?" taunted Piper, who started giggling uncontrollably. I rolled my eyes at her and blushed. There was a knock at the door and I practically flew right to it.

When I threw it open I found a blindfolded Percy with a confused look on his face. I was about to hug him until I realized that someone else was there. "Why hello Annabeth!" said someone behind him. Aphrodite stepped in front of Percy and pulled me in for a hug.

"Uhh..erm.. hello Lady Aphrodite." I stuttered. "Hello mother!" shouted Piper from inside the living room. Aphrodite waved and then giggled. "Have fun you guys. I sense a lot of love in the air right now." teased Aphrodite, and then she pushed Percy through the doorway and then disappeared in a puff of pink smoke.

"Uhhh Annabeth?" Percy asked, while reaching his hands towards the air as if he was trying to find me. I hugged Percy and dragged him over to our couch. "Right here Seaweed Brain." I said. Percy laughed and asked "Can I take this off now?" Then smiled his goofy grin.

I laughed and pushed him onto the couch and then took off his blindfold. He gasped at how the room was decorated. "Wow this is amazing you guys! You didn't have to do this..." he said. "Of course we did! We haven't seen you in a week!" exclaimed Frank.

Percy grabbed a blanket and pulled me closer to him. I blushed as he kissed me passionately on the lips. This went on for about a minute. Percy pulled away and smiled warmly at me. "I missed that." he said.

I playfully pushed his face away and then pulled then blanket onto us. "Y'all are the most lovey dovey out of all of us." observed Hazel. Percy sighed contently and put an arm around me. "You can't blame me." he said while laughing.

"So how was the treatment? Do you feel any different?" questioned Jason. Percy shrugged and started playing with my hair. "It was definitely painful, but it was worth it. It feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my chest knowing I can't be controlled anymore."

Everyone nodded in agreement. "Wait a minute! Where are your wings?!" exclaimed Piper. Percy laughed nervously and I looked up at him with a questioning look. "They're not gone, I'm just able to hide them when I want to!" he said.

I frowned. I wanted those soft and silky wings wrapped around me, but I know that is selfish of me. Percy noticed my crestfallen face. "I-I can have them out if y'all want." he said.

"Yes please!" Piper and I said. Percy laughed and unfolded his wings. They almost knocked over a lamp as they extended. "They're beautiful.." I breathed. Percy stretched them and then sighed. "It's much more comfortable having them out." he said as they wrapped around me. I giggled as I leaned into his chest.

I felt safe and secure around Percy, especially now. "Alright enough gawking, I wanna watch this movie!" he exclaimed while snagging a blue cookie. "You're so childish Seaweed Brain!" I said as I tossed a turtle plushie at his face.

Percy laughed and hugged the plushie. Hazel laughed and then turned on the movie. While everyone was focused on the movie, I pouted because the plushie stole my spot. I pulled Percy's hood over his head and crossed my arms.

Percy grinned mischievously and threw the stuffed animal at me. I glared at him as he used one hand to wrap around my waist and pulled me closer to him. My glare softened as he leaned into me. His wings twitched as he kissed my neck and then my lips. "Percy..." I mumbled. What did I do to deserve you?

I ruffled his hair and stroked his wings, causing him to twitch in pleasure. He pulled me into a tight hug, with my head on his chest and his head on mine. His wings acted like a blanket, shielding and protecting me. "I missed you Wise Girl..." he whispered in my ear.

By the end of the movie, Percy was asleep. He snored loudly in my ear but I didn't mind it. His warm breath tickled my neck. Hazel had fallen asleep on Frank's shoulder while Jason was sleeping on Piper's lap.

Frank and Piper rolled their eyes at their sleeping lovers. Frank used the remote to turn off the TV and then snuggled in with Hazel. "Good night Annie." whispered Piper. I mouthed the same to her and then leaned back into Percy's warm chest.

"Mmm. Good night babe.." mumbled Percy. "I love you..." I mumbled back. I could tell Percy was smiling, and so was I. Everything is just perfect...
