"Apo? Are you awake?" Lolo's voice thundered outside my room that cause me to open one of my eyes. I rolled over to my right side to check the time, its already 8:00 am.

"Yes, I'm up Lolo!" Naginat ako habang humihikab

"Your breakfast is already prepared downstairs apo. Don't forget to eat okay? I'll be visiting my friend for today so I'll be gone till evening"

Till evening? That's a lot of time! Matagal akong makakapagstay kung maaga akong pupunta sa Barn house! I should prepare na.

"Yes lolo! I'll get ready po muna!"

I did not wait for his answer instead i grab my towel and went inside the bathroom. It took me 20 minutes before i went out and enter my closet.

I picked a Black t-shirt, a faded pants and a pair of boots. I stood in front of the mirror as i tied my hair into a messy bun.

"Saan ka pupunta iha? At bakit nakabihis ka?" Tanong saakin ng isang babaeng mukhang kasing edad ni mommy. She's wearing a white button down shirt, black skirt and a white apron tied around her waist.

"Uhm diyan lang po sa malapit. Uhm, sino po kayo?" I asked shyly as she giggle a little.

"Oops pasensya na, di pa pala ako nakakapagpakilala. Ako si Lorna, matagal na akong tumutulong kay Don Leandro"

"You mean katulong ka po dito?" She nods

"Seryoso po? Hindi ka po mukhang katulong" and thats the truth, more like mukha siyang simpleng babae na pumapasyal lang sa kung saan saan.

"Ano kaba, kumain ka nalang diyan at baka mahulog pa ako sa mga bola mo" tawa niya sakin at hinainan ako ng pinggan at kutsara sa harap ng lamesa

Theres a cooked bacon, sausage, egg and fried rice. Masyadong marami para sa iisang tao, baka kakain din ang ibang maids? Better asked ate Lorna.

"Ate Lorna? Did you ate already? Or yung ibang maids?" I asked her

"Hmm di pa kami kumakain, hihintayin ka muna namin matapos"

"Why don't you just join me nalang po? Since marami rami ito and i feel so alone eating in this long table" i even look at her with puppy eyes like I'm really pleading her to join me.

"Hay nako kang bata ka, sa ganda mong yan sinong tatanggi?" I laughed then she left the kitchen to call the other maids who's working somewhere around Lolo's house.

About ate Lorna's remark 'sa ganda mong yan sinong tatanggi?' I wonder if i ask Dom to be my friend, will he reject me? Should i use my puppy eyes technic to make him say yes? Ah whatever. I want him to be my friend since siya palang ang nakikilala kong malapit sa edad ko. Its not that bad to have a friend like him, i mean he is a boy but he doesn't built like one. He looks gay or something since he look so thin, i think he is thinner than me. Oh well.

Breakfast is done and it's so fun spending it with the maids. Lucing, Ate Lorna's mother is the gardener and ate Julia, who's 10 years older than me. They told me that ate Lorna has a daughter that has the same age as me. I told her to fetch her since I don't have anyone around, but unfortunately her daughter got separated from her when her husband stole their daughter 5 years ago. That is why she wants to earn enough money to bail his husband and get her daughter back.

It is so heartbreaking to listen to her story that is why i offer to help. I told her that i can talk to Daddy and convince him to help ate Lorna. We have lawyer's and they can help her. But she refused, she do appreciate the concern but she want to do it on her own since it's their problem and she wants me out of it.
