• Tyler's POV •

Tyler walks over to his plants and sighs. "Do you think I'll ever find love..?" He asks his plants, knowing they can't answer him. Tyler isn't exactly the most romantic person.

While girls have been hitting on him, he just doesn't find them attractive. The only person Tyler finds attractive is Josh, but he has that boyfriend. "At least he finds men attractive.." Tyler sighs and looks at his plants.

Tyler goes to the kitchen and makes some pasta. "Oh to only be cooking for two..." Tyler murmurs to himself and frowns, plopping the pasta onto a plate and sitting at the table, looking out the window, feeling the emptiness grow inside of him.

He finishes eating and goes to the bathroom, Tyler decides to take a shower. He gets in the shower and turns the water on, he turns in the water temperature knob and makes it a nice lukewarm temperature. Not too hot, not too cold. Just perfect.

Tyler grabs his conditioner and starts washing his hair, he starts thinking about how he could shower with a partner, how they could cook together, cuddle and watch movies, how he could feel protected and loved. But the cold reality hits him, like always. Things aren't like that, Tyler lives alone, with plants as his only friend, he doesn't have anyone to cook with, or to cuddle and watch movies, he doesn't feel loved nor protected. He's all alone.

He finishes his shower and gets out, no one to dry him off and bring him warm clothes, he has to do that by himself. He never really realized how much he was wishing to have a relationship until today, when he saw josh kiss the motorcyclist.

He dries himself off and walks to his closet, grabbing pajamas. He's tired and he wished he had somebody that would help him with the house chores. Not just that, but someone who would also understand Tyler. Tyler isn't as simple as he makes it seem, his family causes him trouble, he's broken, he doesn't have anyone else, except for those plants. But he wants more, no he needs more.

Tyler lays in his bed, staring at the ceiling. "Maybe I'm meant to be alone forever.." he whispers to himself, looking at the plastic glow-in-the-dark stars that he put up on the ceiling the first night he slept in his apartment.

He hugs his body pillow, just once he wished he'd be hugged back. He just really needs a hug. A hug filled with sympathy and worry, but most importantly love. Deep down Tyler is a complex human, he has many doubts about himself, mostly because his parents have made him question his worth ever since he started going to high school, before that, they were the most loving parents ever. They'd hug him, tell him how amazing he was, how they'd always love him. He doesn't know why they suddenly changed. Tyler wants answers, but his parents won't even look at him. Some things will never be answered.

• Josh's POV •

Josh just realized what Jacob really wants, he just wants to sleep with josh, and yeah maybe Jacob does have actual feelings towards Josh, but josh doesn't feel like that's the case. Jacob will come over, sit on Josh's couch, wait for josh to make some food, they eat, and then Jacob goes to the bedroom. Josh will get there and Jacob will be laying there, whining and begging josh for sex.

Josh doesn't want just sex, he wants something more concrete, something more intimate. He doesn't want to just sleep around with some guy who won't even go on dates with josh. He just uses josh to please himself, maybe josh wouldn't mind it if Jacob had feelings too, and wanted to have an actual relationship with josh.

Josh isn't talking about having feelings towards josh, but just having feelings. You know, sympathy, empathy, love, caring, those kinds of feelings, but the only feelings Jacob seems to have are greed and neediness. Neediness for sex. He's greedy and wants the "hottest person ever." Unfortunately for josh, Jacob won't leave him alone. Well not that josh has ever really even tried.

Josh finally has realized how bad Jacob actually is, he was mad at josh because he was daydreaming, he blamed josh. He always blames josh. He got upset when josh said he wanted to be alone.

He grabs his phone and calls Jacob. "Hello Jacob, I think it's best we start seeing other people, we aren't looking for the same thing." And with that josh hangs up.

Josh doesn't just want to be someone else's hookup buddy. He wants to be someone's boyfriend. He has feelings too.

He starts getting ready for bed, but he hears a knock on his door. He goes to answer it. It's Jacob.
