• Tyler's POV •

"Do you want to eat lunch together today? We could go get something from the market and come here and eat." Tyler asks, hes worried that josh will say no. But he really wants to become closer to Josh. "I'd love that!" Josh smiles. "When is your lunch break?" Josh continues and looks at tyler, and maybe tyler is imagining things, but in his head josh was looking at him in an adoring way. But tyler knows not to get his hopes up. He doesn't want to be disappointed again.

"Whenever I want to, to be honest." Tyler smiles and chuckles, looking at josh. "How about we go in ten minutes?" Josh asks and smiles at tyler. "Sounds perfect." Tyler says and puts Josh's succulent plants into a paper bag, he can't help but sigh, the paper bag is boring, it's just brown, it has no design on it. "What's wrong?" Josh asks and looks at tyler worriedly. "Oh nothing, i just wish I could put a design on these paper bags." Tyler chuckles a bit. "Why can't you then?" Josh asks him.

Tyler looks at josh as if he was crazy. "I have no talent when it comes to drawing." Tyler says. "i wouldn't mind making a design for you." Josh says. "You already have a lot of work to do though, i don't want to stress you out." Tyler says. "Are you kidding? I'm ahead my schedule! I have all the time in the world to draw for you!" Josh says grinning. "Fine, but only draw it whenever you feel like it, and don't hurry. I really don't want to stress you out." Tyler says blushing a bit, thinking about how sweet josh is. "Don't worry, i won't, i promise." Josh says and pats Tyler's head before grabbing the bag with the plants and his bouquet. "I'll be here in 10!" Josh says and leaves.

Tyler's cheeks get warmer and redder. "I haven't had any physical contact in so long... That felt so nice..." Tyler mumbles to himself. He rushes to the backroom and looks at himself in the mirror. He only sees flaws. 'Too skinny... Too short.. ugly style... He won't see anything special in me... He's just a friend... You know better than to get your hopes up tyler... You'll only be disappointed...' Tyler thinks to himself, moving out of the mirror, he can't look at himself anymore.

• Josh's POV •

Josh gets to his shop before he realizes that he patted Tyler's head! "Oh my God I'm an idiot! Oh god!" Josh curses to himself. He looks at his hand, the one which touched Tyler's hair.

Tyler's hair was so soft and smooth and silky, it felt like a comfortable pillow and it was shiny too. His hair was in amazing condition. Josh has never felt anything like that. James's hair was greasy, full of knots. James also used hair gel, making it look awful. Josh remembers the way it felt when he tried to run his hand through James's hair. It was impossible. James had dry hair. It was in awful condition. Josh can't help but wonder what it would be like to run his hand through Tyler's hair. Let alone play with it.

Josh's thoughts start to wander into dirtier things, like tugging at Tyler's hair. Josh groans and his cheeks are bright red.

"Are you okay?" The tiny boy in front of him asks. It's tyler. "Tyler what are you doing here?" Josh asks surprised. He was supposed to go to get tyler from Tyler's shop. "Well you never came. You were supposed to come meet me 10 minutes ago so when you didn't show up, i got worried so i came here. Then i heard you groan and your cheeks are red, do you have a headache? Or a fever?" Tyler looks at josh with a worried expression.

"Oh god I'm so sorry! I got lost in my thoughts! I'm totally fine. I'm really really sorry tyler." Josh frown feeling guilty about totally loosing track of time. "You seem to get lost in your thoughts a lot." Tyler says as josh grabs his keys, wallet and phone. "What do you mean?" Josh asks as they start walking to the market. "Well, the first day you were here, as i was closing shop, you stood in front of your store looking into my direction and just stood there. I said bye but you were too deep in thought to even hear me." Tyler says and chuckles a bit.

"Gosh I need to stop doing that!" Josh says. "Are there things you need to talk about? You know I don't mind listening if you need to rant." Tyler says. "Well the first time I spaced out was because I was thinking about james, and the way he treated me, now i was just thinking about how nasty James's hair was, but it started with me being amazed with how soft and healthy your hair looks." Josh says. Realizing he wasn't supposed to mention Tyler's hair and blushing a bit.

"Oh?" Tyler says as they enter the market. "Yeah, i wanted to ask you what you do to keep it so healthy?" Josh tries to cover up. "Well just this organic strawberry shampoo. I cant remember the name at the moment but I can check once I get home." Tyler says and smiles softly. "If it's not too much trouble, I'd like to have nice looking hair, i dye it quite often. I know that's not healthy." Josh says and looks at tyler as they pick their lunches and go to the cash register.

They get back to Tyler's shop and they go to the backroom. "Wow this is such a nice backroom. Mine is awful looking." josh says and chuckles. "I like decorating." Tyler grins. "I bet your apartment must look really nice!" Josh says, totally amazed by Tyler's decorating skills. "It does, when it's not messy. I have been quite lazy lately, i keep leaving my dishes everywhere." Tyler admits. "It's okay to be lazy sometimes, i have learned that over the years, that sometimes it's okay to just lay back and just relax." Josh says, while eating. "Oh? How old are you? You are so wise, you must be old, n-not that you look old! You look like a 19 year old!" Tyler panics.

Josh chuckles. "Don't worry, that's a nice compliment. I'm actually 21 years old." Josh says and smiles softly. Tyler is so adorable when he starts panicking over nothing. "Really? You're so young!" Tyler exclaims. "Well how old are you then?" Josh asks. "I'm 20 years old, i haven't had my birthday yet, though." Tyler says.

Josh nods. "Speaking of birthdays, mine is soon actually. I'll be 22, on June 18th." Josh smiles. "That's so soon! I have to mark my calendar! My birthday is December 1st." Tyler says.

Josh is having a great time. It feels like he's known tyler forever. They share common interests and they laugh at stupid stuff. Josh has made his first friend.

• Tyler's POV •

Tyler is really happy. He loves being around josh. He doesn't feel lonely. It feels like they've been best friends since babies. Tyler finally feels important to someone, after 20 years of not feeling important to anyone.
