Josh is looking at tyler. "Oh..?" Josh says confused. "there is nothing wrong with drinking every now and then.." josh continues. "T-thats n-not the i-issue.." tyler stutters while crying. "What's the issue then..?" Josh asks kneeling next to tyler. "N-nothing..." He stutters again. "Can I help you somehow..?" Josh asks looking at tyler. "H-hit me.. p-please.. s-slap m-me.." tyler cries. "What..? I'm not going to do that.. why on earth would i hit you..?" Josh says worriedly.

Tyler manages to calm down a bit. "Could you please tell me what is going on..?" Josh asks. "I-i can't..." Tyler mumbles quietly, fiddling with his hands. "Why not..?" Josh asks. "Because.." tyler mumbles again.

• Josh's POV •

Josh knows that tyler is hiding something big. "Because..?" Josh repeats. "You could use it against me.." tyler mumbles. "Oh.." josh feels hurt. Josh isn't like that, he doesn't use anything against anyone. Josh doesn't understand why tyler believes that josh would do that. "Why do you think I'd use it against you..?" Josh mumbles quietly. "No reason.." tyler mumbles.

That hurts josh even more. He doesn't want to be around tyler anymore. Not right now at least. "i have to go.. I'm meeting up with friends.." josh says getting up, leaving Tyler's place.

• Tylers POV •

How could josh do that to tyler, josh could see that tyler wasn't doing well, so why would he do with other friends. He shouldn't have gotten his hopes up. He knew it.

Tyler eventually gets up from the floor, waters his plants and eats an apple. He just wants to lay in bed all day and never get up. But tyler has work tomorrow.

He gets into bed and gets under the covers, shutting his eyes, tears starting to form as he starts to think about Josh.

• Josh's POV •

Josh needs to message tyler, this isn't a way two adults should deal with things.

Josh
Hey tyler, i left because I felt hurt when you said that i could use stuff against you.. i shouldn't have done that.. I should've stayed there to make sure you're okay.. I'm really sorry..

Tyler
I didn't mean it like that... I have trust issues... Since it has happened before.. and i know i should just let the past go but it's hard.. I'm sorry for making you feel that way..

Josh
I promise I won't use it against you.. if you want to tell me you can.. but i won't force you..

Tyler
I'll tell you face to face... Maybe tomorrow.. but I'd still like to get to know you more before i do tell..

Josh
That's fair

Josh sighs in relief, he doesn't feel as bad about what tyler said earlier anymore. He's also happy to know that tyler isn't mad at him. Tyler is his only true friend and josh doesn't want to lose him. He isn't just Josh's true friend, but also Josh's crush. Josh has no idea what to do about that or how tyler feels about josh.

Tyler is gay but that doesn't mean he likes josh automatically, but it means josh does have a chance. Josh decides to still wait a while before telling tyler to see how their friendship will work and to see if there are any signs of tyler liking josh back.

Josh goes to bed and sighs a bit sadly, he really wants tyler all to himself. But the chances of that ever happening are low.

Monday

Josh gets to work early. Tyler isn't there yet, but lawrence is. "Morning lawrence." Josh says. "oh morning josh, i need to ask you something!" Lawrence says. He doesn't seem that mean when tyler isn't around. "Sure what is it?" Josh asks looking at him. "i have this great idea, we can hit him right where it hurts!" Lawrence says with an evil grin. "hit who..?" Josh asks. "Tyler joseph. That piece of shit." Lawrence says with his teeth grinding. "what did he ever do to you!?" Josh says, feeling angry.

• Tyler's POV •

Tyler is walking to his shop, lawrence is in front of his music shop, he's talking with josh. Tyler walks past them. "Morning josh, morning lawrence." Tyler says. "morning tyl- LAWRENCE!" josh says as lawrence puts his foot up, causing tyler to fall onto gravel. "Why did you do that!? Tyler are you okay!?" Josh asks helping him up.

Lawrence is laughing his ass off. "You looked so dumb!" He keeps laughing. Tyler looks at his palms, they're dirty and they're bleeding. "come tyler, I'll help you." Josh says. Josh must have noticed the bleeding palms as well.

"I'll be fine.." tyler smiles a bit. "Just let me at least clean you up." Josh pretty much begs tyler. "Fine.." tyler gives in and they go to Josh's shop and into the backroom.

Josh grabs a first aid kit and opens it. "Wash your hands first." Josh says. He's so caring. Tyler nods and goes to do so. "Ow.. it burns.." he mumbles. "I know.." josh says and grabs a towel.

He turns off the water and asks tyler to hold his hands out. Josh dries tylers hands carefully by dabbing with the towel. "I'll go grab some rubbing alcohol and some cotton pads." Josh says.

Tyler sirs back down as he waits for josh to return. "alright, this will sting a bit." Josh says, starting to clean the cuts.

Once he's done he looks at tyler. "Did you hurt your knees?" Josh asks. "I don't think so.." tyler says quietly, feeling embarrassed that josh saw him fall. "Good." Josh says and tyler nods a bit.

"Thank you for being so caring josh.." tyler says quietly as josh walks tyler back to his flower shop. "Anytime tyler." Josh says smiling a bit.

Tyler gets into his shop and starts working right away.

• Josh's POV •

Josh goes over to lawrence's music shop to give him a piece of his mind. He gets inside and sees that there are no customers. "What the hell was that all about!? Why did you trip him?!" Josh asks lawrence. Josh is pissed. "I was bored so i tripped him, it was funny. Don't you think?" Lawrence says chuckling. "No i don't! It wasn't funny at all! And if you do anything like that to tyler again we are going to have an issue!" Josh says sounding aggressive. "Gee you need to chill out, it was just a joke." Lawrence says. "A JOKE!? HE COULD HAVE GOTTEN SERIOUSLY HURT! THAT IS NOT A JOKE!" Josh yells.
