"IS IT TRUE?" Taehyung shouted, bursting the door of the study room open and startling his two cousins apart. Taehyung could comment on how they had been too close, maybe sharing a secret or something else, but he had other pressing matters to address.
"Is it true that there is an omega in our kingdom?"
"Sounds fake." Seokjin shrugged, brushing the idea off as he walked away from Namjoon and focused on scrolling through his phone.
"I heard that Jungkook found their scent when he was hunting." The younger one retold the information he got, ignoring his older cousin's dismissiveness.
"The rumors are fresh, and Jungkook just got back from hunting. If it's true, then the royal family will address these rumors as soon as possible." Namjoon expressed it with a soothing tone, trying to calm down the youngest's excitement.
"What if Jungkook claims them?" Taehyung pouted at the idea, his wolf stirring inside for unknown reasons. Perhaps he knew an omega was near.
"Well, it isn't his decision, really." Jin phrased it with a confident tone that didn't reach Taehyung.
"So it will be a competition? Between us?" The younger boy wasn't referring only to him and his cousins, but to all the other alphas that co-existed in the Kingdom of Goryeo and inhabited the city of Seoul, the heart of the Crown.
Since alphas were rare, they had to live in proximity to the Palace and had to interact with each other, so it's safe to say that they know each other.
