Nobody had a good night that day. The scare was too big and left most of them thinking. The Queen had stayed up all night, trying to figure out what to do. Should she trial Jimin for the suspicion that he attempted against the Goryo Kingdom's treasure? Had Jimin really tried to do harm to himself and the royal heir? Had she been doing everything wrong since the beginning?

She knew everything changed too fast for the omega. Maybe she should've held the Table of Counselors tighter before revealing Jimin's arrival in court; she should've given him more time. But even as the Queen, it wasn't that easy to have master control over everything. In the end, she still had to accept the Table of Counselors suggestion.

Thinking better, no, she didn't; she could refuse. However, that would bring political problems. But maybe she would deal with those better than with what happened with Jimin. She had been wrong to let it all get to this point.

On the other end of the castle, the alphas gathered in the arcade's room. They were all wearing pajamas; they had barely been able to sleep separately, too afraid to be alone in case some bad news arrived.

None of them had been able to utter a word since they got the news. They all felt guilty in some way, thinking that anything they did to Jimin, directly or not, had led him to do this.

Some have cried, some have broken stuff against the walls, and others hugged their bodies and rocked themselves to numbness. But none turned their backs to each other or pointed fingers.

It was barely morning when the arcade's room door was open and Taehyung got inside. Everyone who was awake already jumped on their feet, and the ones sleeping woke up immediately, looking around confused but soon wide-eyed.

"Taehyungie!" Jungkook ran to his best friend, pulling him into a tight hug.

"How is he?" Hoseok was the first one to ask.

"He's fine, still asleep. I just left because Momo came to take my place." He explained, feeling the emptiness of having to leave Jimin for even a second.

If it was by him, he would stick to the omega all the time. His wolf was crying, howling in pain for the scare of almost losing the omega. When he jumped in the water, it was his wolf that took over and saved Jimin. And Taehyung was thankful for that.

"What happened?" Namjoon inquired, his stomach churning at the suspicion they couldn't even utter.

"I don't even know." Tae sighed, brushing his hair back and pulling his memories back.

"I was just moping around the palace gardens because I didn't want to go home. And then I heard a scream and then a splash."

He stared at a point with no actual focus, frowning as he remembered that specific scene.

If Jimin hadn't screamed, he wouldn't have followed the sound and gone to the bridge. He wasn't going that way to begin with.

The thought of not hearing the scream and not saving Jimin... He shrugged it off quickly because he couldn't even fathom it!

"When I got to the bridge, I saw the water all wavy, so I figured someone had fallen. I waited for a couple of seconds to see if someone would emerge, but when they didn't, I jumped." He told it as it was. It all seemed so slow; he should've jumped right away!
