THE KIMS COMPLEX
"The Kingdom is going crazy!" Hoseok reported with a high pitch and melodic tone, scrolling through his social media and seeing lots of hashtags about the matter trending in the top 10.
All six bachelor alphas had gathered at the Kims Complex once Jungkook had messaged to meet them there after the confirmation about the omega came through official channels of the Royal Family. The excitement, curiosity, and anxiety coursing through all of them as they waited for Jungkook to tell them what exactly had happened.
"How do they look like? Are they a girl? A boy? Tell us that, at least, they are pretty. Not as pretty as me, of course." Jin started babbling with excitement.
"They're a boy." It was everything that Jungkook said to the numerous questions.
"What happened out there? How did you find him? Where was he all this time?" It was Yoongi's turn to ask all the questions; he was fidgeting with his fingers, restless.
They all seemed like puppies in a playground, filling him up with questions, and it was giving Jungkook a headache.
"I was hunting when I heard someone singing. My wolf stirred, and I thought it was weird that someone was so far inside the woods, so I went to see."
He kept out all the important details, such as how the voice sounded angelic, out of this world, like some kind of fairy of the woods lurking around, hiding. He kept out how his wolf made a turn inside him and almost made him growl aloud, itching him to follow that sound. Furthermore, he hid the critical details of how beautiful he was because there were no words Jungkook could use to describe his beauty. And that wasn't even because he was an omega.
"It could've been one of the other soldiers." Hoseok retorted, his eyes latched to the screen.
"They were hunting, stupid," Seokjin said, rolling his eyes to the back of his head.
"So?" Jung lifted his brow, irked at the insult.
"Silence is the key word," Namjoon explained, and the ginger-haired lips opened in a circle of realization.
"What happened when you approached him?" Yoongi asked, curious.
"My wolf stirred. For a second, I thought he was feeling threatened, even if I couldn't understand why, but then I sniffed the air, and I understood." Jungkook was purposely keeping the explanation as plain as possible, a feeling of possessiveness pushing him to keep the truth a secret a little longer.
"What does he smell like?" Hoseok asked with a smirk and sparkling eyes, and the memory of the smell made Jungkook's mouth water, and his wolf move inside him.
"Cotton Candy"

Jungkook wasn't as blind as not to notice the constant pout Taehyung carried throughout the entire conversation, along with the deafening silence of his voice. This wasn't something the prince was accustomed to, so as soon as Jungkook was able to untangle himself from the questioning group, he approached his best friend and poked his arm to catch his attention.
Taehyung lifted his eyes and saw Jungkook nudge his head towards the exit door in an inviting manner. Tae got up, followed the younger man out of the room, and walked alongside him until they reached the garden.
Taehyung looked up at the dark, starry sky, hearing the crickets chirp in cadence.
"What's that face for?" Jungkook nudged him with his shoulder to capture his attention.
"What face?" Taehyung turned his face to the younger man abruptly, with raised eyebrows and goggled eyes, who soon frowned and squinted in a huffy grimace.
"This is my face; are you saying something is wrong with my face?" He accused in a low, inoffensive growl.
"Matter-of-factly, I am." Jungkook sighed nasally, rolling his eyes.
"C'mon, Taehyung, I know you like the palm of my hand, tell me what's wrong." He probed a bit longer, poking his finger on the older man's sides.
"If I tell you, you're gonna hate me." Taehyung pouted once again, dropping his head.
"I would never! You're my best friend, my ride or die, I trust you completely! So, please, trust me too."
"I trust you, I do! It's just-" Taehyung looked around with cautious eyes to make sure no one was close by.
"I'm not happy." He murmured back, almost making it difficult for the prince to understand.
"Why? What made you upset?" Taehyung's eyes sparkled with a glint of obviousness to Jungkook's answer, which made the younger understand him without the need for words to be spoken.
"Why's that making you upset?"
"Because..." Taehyung whined, shaking his hands down, only halting when Jungkook's fingers touched his wrists to make him stop and speak.
"Everything is going to change!"
"Nothing is going to change, Tae-"
"Yes, it is!" He snapped with a shout. "We are all going to fight against each other for him."
"Nobody is going to fight, Taehyung-ah." Jungkook's doe-y eyes blinked dumbfoundedly at the weird conception in Tae's mind.
"Not an actual fight, dummy. I mean, we're going to become rivals and enter some sort of game to conquer this omega." The last pronoun was accompanied by a grimace, as to belittle the importance of the person in question.
"It doesn't have to be like that." The prince sighed, smiling tenderly.
"You know better than me that it isn't up to us. It's up to the counselors and the population." His tone and his features were suddenly austere, demonstrating his total dissatisfaction.
"I know that, Taehyung, but it's still up to us on how we carry out the orders." The prince refuted it too, with a grave tone.
"Just- believe that everything is going to be fine." Taehyung bit his bottom lip, looking to the sky again, really wishing that to come true.
"I really hope so."

Hello!
Taehyung is scared about the changes the omega will bring.
It's inevitable, really, but do you think this will ruin their friendship?
Have a great day!
