Meeting You (Levi x Reader)

(y/n)'s pov:

Just as I thought, they started to make fun of me the moment they saw my appearance, even Gunther and Commander Erwin. They are the type that don't tease a lot but here they are, why did I drink in front of them.

I run away to my horse when I find my chance to escape from them. 'Hey buddy, we haven't see each other for a while.' I said as I pat Jack on his head. He neigh back and wave his tail side to side. 'We have to do another expedition again. Ready for this?' I get on to Jack and then join the others.

'THE MISSION TO TAKE BACK WALL MARIA STARTS NOW!!!' Guess who would yell like that.

The one and only Erwin!

'Be safe, ok?' Levi said as he show a hint of worried sight. 'I'll be fine. Oh Levi, wait.' I then bring out my other journal from my bag. 'Can you keep this with you, I already have another one with me if you ask. It's just for precaution.' I stopped and think about what's going to happen.

'(y/n).' Levi lift my face softly with his hand. 'Whatever happens, it's not your fault, ok? I don't know what might happen but I won't ask. I already know by your expression that it's kind of bad, but anyways make sure you stay safe, I can't lose you too.' He softly said the the last part with a tint of fear.

'Levi, I'll try my best ok? I love you.'

'I love you more.'

I kissed him on the cheek and waved him, then go back on my horse. Will I be able to save everyone?

We got to the wall Maria around dawn and finish sealing off one of the holes in the wall, only one left to do. There were no titans along the way except the one we last saw in the forest. It was quite around here, the houses have lot of weeds since they were left here like that.

I look back to see Armin, Mikasa and Eren expression and I could say they are having flashbacks of when they lived here. How are you doing, mom, dad, my idiot two brothers? I miss them, even though I can't remember their faces anymore. 'Isn't this too strange?' Oluo asked in which I nodded. 'No titans or anything.' Gunther added.

'Isn't that a good thing?' Sasha questioned. All three us look at her, shaking our heads at the same time. '(y/n), come and take a look at this.' Armin called out and I moved to him in an instant.

'The cup still have some black stains left and it's three in total, I think there is another person with Reiner and Bertholdt.' I nod in agreement and said, 'Go report Erwin about it. We'll follow behind you.'

Armin left after I talked to him, I take a quick around before following Armin. I can't remember which spot Reiner is hiding. I know that Bertholdt is with the Beast titan a.k.a Zeke Yeager.

In a sudden, Erwin signal a red one, meaning that we have to stop the mission. I guess Armin figured it out. I quickly swing myself towards Armin to hear his orders. 'Split into two groups and look into every sides of the wall, but be more careful when you check near the gate entrance.' Everyone shout 'Rogers' with a tint of hesitation but obey his orders.

I turn to my left and saw that guy, isn't that the guy who find Reiner place and got killed. I need to follow him. I hook my gear to wall and go beside that guy, I saw a slight crack in the wall on where he is checking. That's where Reiner is!

I push him not too much before Reiner got to stab him, I used my sword to evade the attack. 'LEVI!!' I shout to Levi and He come stabbing Reiner's neck in a second, but Reiner changes to his titan form. I retreat back to the wall and get grab by Levi as he pushes me behind him.

And then a lighting flash behind us, as we turn back, we see the Beast titan with other normal titans by his side. I felt Levi's hand tighten his grip around mine. Is he scared? No way, he's not that kind of person to get scared easily? I look at his expression but he didn't show any fear. He's ok.

Erwin then assign teams for the plan, Levi squad is split into two teams, the old members team and the new members team. The rookie one have to fight the Armored titan while the rest has to focus on the Beast titan.

I give a look to Levi and reassure him that I will protect myself. He let out a smile and I left with my team. I stand on the roof and wait for my signal, I ready my thunder spears to my side as I look to the fight happening beyond me.

Hange yelled as she went in with Mikasa to attack the Armored titan with the thunder spears, and it completely damaged it's eyes, that's  our sign to go in. The rest of us went to his back and hook the thunder spears in his nape.

'Don't stop yet. Keep on fighting him with those.' Hange demand. 'But...' Connie, Sasha and Marco are still hesitating on killing him but Jean yelled out, telling them to attack. We all went in for a second round, destroying the nape successfully, ripping half off Reiner's head as well.

The people cheered around us as they saw the result of the Armored titan. 'It's still not over, ready your equipments for another wave of attack.' At that time, Reiner let out a roar. Everyone around got shocked at the sudden roar, Oh no, Bertholdt is going to come any minute.

Moblit, Hange and her squad, I need to help them out. Wait, why am I helping then out? Why? Wait my book. I reach for my small bag  but I don't feel anything. I look down and saw there was no bag but only a piece of it's top left there. The end piece look like it got burn.

Don't tell me I lost it during attacking Reiner with the spears? This can't be happening. I can't remember anything. Think! Think! Think! '(y/n), we have to leave now!' Mikasa said as she snap out of my thoughts. I nod hesitantly and followed her.

We left Reiner thinking Bertholdt woul change but he uses his gear to get near Reiner. Hange told us to stop and ordered to attack Bertholdt in the moment but Armin halted her telling her that he would try to take off Bertholdt mind by talking to him, however his plan didn't work.

Armin retreated quickly with Mikasa from Bertholdt as he rose higher from the ground, he's going to change. I slap myself to make my memories come back. '(y/n), why are you slapping yourself?' Sasha asked worriedly.

I felt tears slip down my face as I look at the scene happening in front of me. I can't go to Levi to get that book. The explosion was big but Eren cover us from the impact.

The explosion last for a few seconds, after that Mikasa and Armin come straight to us. 'You guys ok?' Armin asked. The others but I can't focus on what they say. 'What about Hange squad?' Jean asked them, but their answer is written on their faces.

'Their team was closer to Bertholdt. I don't know if they did survive or not.' I suddenly sit down in a limp after hearing their words. I hit my head against the roof. '(y/n), why are you doing this?'

'Armin, I can't remember anything, my book got burned and because of that I can't save them. It's my fault. It's my fa—-' Armin suddenly hug me as he try to comfort me. I begin to cry as I keep on trying to get back my memories. Why it have to be this time? Why?
