The Great Escape

¨Dangerous¨ thought Laura. ¨How could I possibly be dangerous. I'm losing my mind, there is no possible way for me to be dangerous.¨ Laura thought that she was just overwhelmed and hearing things, but then the voice came again,'' Mr President, I know she's your daughter, but she's a risk to all of us. She needs to go or we're leaving.''

She thought to herself ¨That settles it, I'm completely going crazy. These voices, in my mind are mocking me. They know my weakness, and are trying to push me over the edge.¨ But what if the voices are giving Laura signs? What if they are trying to tell her something? The only way to know for sure is to get that book. It's the only hope for her to know exactly what's wrong with herself. 

Laura can't get caught this time she needed a plan but she couldnt do it today.  Her father has no more meetings, and could walk in at any moment. She'll have to wait a while until she knows the coast is clear.

 3 days of went by with no visitors, not even her father. He has to leave this evening for an out of country trip, so it'll be the perfect time to find that Blue Book. It was her time to her plan great escape. 

From Lauras last exploration. She knew when you leave the South Wing, you go into the large hallway and through the hallway was the courtyard, then through the corridor into the Noble office. That's how she'll get there. But how will she not get caught going into the office?

From 8 to 9 the maids clean The West Wing and from 8:30 to 9:00 the guards have supper that gives her 30 minutes to get in and out of the office with the book. 

With her plan finished and her father gone, it was time to get the book. As quiet as possible, Laura left her room and exited into the hallway. Good no one to be seen. Through the courtyard into the corridor. She stopped and ran towards the wall. Voices and footsteps were coming towards her. Laura had to stay still even though it was almost impossible. Her father's office was so close. The footsteps got louder, but didn't stop as they walked past Laura.With a sigh she thought ¨They didn't see me.¨ 

Laura kept on walking twards the office, when she reached the door, and went to turn the door knob, she couldnt believe she was about to get the book. The door opened with ease, and right in front of her, sitting on her father's desk was the large Blue Book. 

A faint squeal left Lauras lungs as she sprinted towards the desk to grab the book. Finally she had all the answers to her past. She was walking away with a book in hand, when Laura lost her balance and with a loud bang the book fell to the floor, not this again!
