Laura stood in silence for a while, thinking of her next move. Should she get the book out right now, and risk getting caught with it, or leave it and deal with the buzzing? She had to make a decision and quick, because Laura could not risk getting caught by anyone.

It took Laura a few seconds to decide what would be best, and she chose to take the book out and read it, but first she had to make sure that she would not get caught with the book. Just as Laura was taking out the book, she heard the door creak, but before she could even process who, or what it was that was entering, Laura was already sprinting towards the library. As she reached the library she shoved the book behind the bookshelf, and walked to the desk, to "work". When she sat down, Laura saw a figure in the hallway approaching her, and was starting to get nervous.

When the figure started to get closer, Laura instantly recognized who it was. Gabriel was walking towards her, with something in his hands, then multiple other people were behind him. What could this be, Laura thought, but no sooner than she got those thoughts she heard her dad, say "Happy Birthday Laura". Laura was so caught up in the fact of the buzzing book, that she totally forgot that today was her birthday. And her father bought her a puppy, and organized a birthday party for her.

But today was not going to be a great birthday like she imagined, because later that evening right before everyone left, the buzzing started again, but this time a woman's' voice sounded through her brain. "Don't listen to anyone Laur, you cant trust anyone in this house" Laura instantly recognized that voice, and the only person that has ever called her Laur, was her mother.
