Gabriel led Laura out of his office, and down the hallway, which had her mothers picture hanging on the wall. Laura was too dazed to notice, that they had stopped right in front of the photo, but she realized it when Gabriel spoke:
"The reason this photo is in this hallway, instead of somewhere else, is because this hallway is off limits to anyone except me. This hallway has my bedroom, my personal library, and my personal office."
Laura looked around the hallway, but only saw two doors, his bedroom, and his library.
"Okay, I see your bedroom, and your library, so where is your office?" asked Laura
Her father looked at her, with a sly grin and pulled out a keypad. He punched in a code, and then the picture lifted from the wall, and behind that picture, was his office. Gabriel looked at Laura, then led her into the room, and then closed it up behind them. Laura was speechless, and couldn't believe that her father had a secret room, where no one would ever bother him.
Still shocked Laura took a seat, and looked towards Gabriel. He walked to Laura, and sat down looking deep within her eyes. "Now its time that I tell you about, how your mother and I met, and what you can do with your powers."
