Laura didn't even give her father time to process what was going on. She just went up to him, with fire raging out of her eyes. Lara gave Gabriel a death glare as she said:
" Look what I found Father, A big blue book all about me. Hmm, lets read a bit out of it shall we? Laura Steinfeld: biological mother, Leanne Steinfeld, Oh and this is the best part isn't it "Father" biological father Gabriel Miller. Oh Wait, that's you!! Oh and look here both of you were chosens. Isn't that interesting? Was this your plan all along, to make a super chosen, because that's what you get when two chosens have a baby, it says it right here!!"
Gabriel just stared at his outraged daughter, unable to speak, so Laura went on:
"Oh and while i was getting this, I ran into a photo of a woman in a hallway, Who is that? Is it my mother?"
Gabriel looked down at his desk and shook his head yes. Then started to speak:
"Laura darling, I was going to tell you when you turned 18, I wasn't trying to hide it from you. Your mother would be so proud of what you have become-"
Laura interrupted her father: "She would be happy of what I have become, What an isolated monster, that doesn't even know what she is capable of!" Right as those words came out of her mouth a glass vase flew across the room, and shattered against the wall,and startled both Laura, and Gabriel.
Laura stiffened, and stopped talking scared of what she could cause next. Gabriel took her moment of silence to say: "Laura you need to calm down, I know this is scary for you, but I promise that I will explain everything. But not here, we have to go somewhere private, because if anyone finds out that I am a chosen, and what you are truly capable of, we are both dead."
