My youth seems so far away now
A difficult time it was and filled with endless possibilities
A big world ahead, don't look back
You will make it, one day
Skies were common, you saw them everyday
But look closer and you'll see the big picture
Galaxies so bright, so beautiful
Just beyond the Milky Way
The streets so foggy and damp
Breath misty and visible in the air
The cold air chilly against the bare skin
Shoulders only covered by a lightweight jacket
We gon' change, we gon' change
Things will change, things will get better
Cold you shall be no more
Warmth will envelope you for evermore
Your laugh, a feeling of a nostalgia
A child full of laughter and many smiles
Smile more, I hope we smile more
You will be ok as I am ok to this day
Never leave behind the you of now
Always remember your happy smile
Don't let your fears keep you away
There will always be those who will remain to stay
Hold my hand and never let go
I'll give you the world and more than you know
If you look into my eyes you'll see we are the same
We have the same looks and we have the same name
And when things look bleak or out of control
Just look up at the sky where the galaxies dwell
They will shower you with light and stars so bright
And give you a peak at the me of now

Hiya everyone!
I have here another new poem inspired by the song Inner Child sung by TaeTae.
What I can depict from the original lyrics is that TaeTae is talking to his younger self back during the time of BTS' debut where they weren't very popular or well known. He's consoling and reassuring his younger self that he'll be alright and that one day his younger self will become the him who he is now. He says that his younger self was always smiling and laughing and makes him smile in remembrance. He hopes that both his younger self and his present self smile more.
