"I keep seeing things in my dreams about harmonic convergence. I've been trying to piece it together, and I think I understand. It's when the spirit world and the physical world are closest together. When the planets align, which only happens every 10,000 years."

Ally groaned and sat up in her bed as the same dream played through her mind.

"Okay," she mumbled. "Raava and Vaatu. I can add them to the list." She drew a quick sketch of what Vaatu and Raava looked like in a notebook her kept by her bed.

"Ally?" Lin knocked on the wall next to her daughter's door. "Are you okay, sweetheart?"

"Yeah," Ally smiled, hiding the notebook behind her back. She didn't want to worry Lin, it was probably just a dream.

"Are you sure?" Lin replied. "You've been a little out of sorts recently."

"Yeah, I'm fine," Ally said half-heartedly. "Don't we have work to do?" Meanwhile, Unalaq, Eska, and Dezna were attempting to open the northern spirit portal with waterbending. They were going to open it, when it sent out a bolt of pink lightning that threw Dezna back.

"He needs a healer!" Eska exclaimed. "He's hurt!"

"This takes precedence!" Unalaq didn't even look at his kids as he tried to open the portal. He was too fixated on his plans, he didn't care about his own children. At the Eastern Air Temple, Jinorah learned her connections with the spirits and Tenzin tried to get Korra into the spirit world. Jinorah was able to see spirits and sense spiritual energy in a way her father never could, she could help Korra get into the spirit world. Back in Republic City, the day passed quickly until Lin got a tip about Mako. She, Ally, Lu and Gang went to his apartment to confront him.

"Mom?" Ally muttered. "What's going on? Why are we here?" Lin stood, stone-faced at the door of Mako's apartment while her detectives searched the place.

"Ally?" Mako asked. "What's happening?"

"We got a tip that you hired triple threats," Gang said. "For a job."

"Yeah, we asked them to help with a sting operation," Mako confessed. "I'm sorry."

"According to the triple threats we busted, you did a lot more than that," Lin snapped. "They told me you stole a warehouse of Future Industries stuff."

"That's insane," Asami chimed in. She was standing behind Mako with her hands on her hips.

"You'd believe criminals?!" Mako exclaimed.

"I have to follow the lead, it's my job," Lin said. Her green eyes looked around, and narrowed when Lu came out with a duffel bag full of explosives.

"Mako?" Ally asked.

"What?" Lin gasped. "What are you doing with explosives? Ally, you know what to do." Ally's eyes were glassy as she put Mako in handcuffs.

"I'm so sorry," she whispered.

"Guess your boyfriend is a corrupt cop," Gang chuckled. "He was using you. That sting operation was to lure you away from your warehouse." Asami's face paled and she looked down at the ground. Ally took Mako off to jail and her eyes glittered as she had to make one of the hardest decisions, her mom, or her friend.
