Lavender POV
"Next we have Hayley. " I smiled, looking at everyone who was in the group circle.
Today I had to let the teenagers talk their feelings and anger out. The new kid Xander didn't exactly come to the morning meetings. He was assigned for the morning groups.
Maybe because he over slept again today. He was a good kid, just certain things about him, pissed me off.
"Hey Hayley." Everyone spoke at all once, making me smile.
"Hey guys!! I'm so glad that you welcome me here," She smiled, "But I've been good, my anger is not as bad as it use to be. I use to throw things out of anger, I use to break things for my amusements and I use to get in fights cause I wanted to."
I smiled, seeing that she was making progress. "My anger use to throw me off my reality that I'm living. Ever since I came here, my anger just suddenly gets controlled and I'm glad for that. Thanks." She smiled as everyone clapped for her.
"I'm so glad-"
I paused when I heard the door open. Turns out it was Xander coming in, all late again. Everyone looked that way and I rolled my eyes.
"Sorry, sorry." He apologized, getting a chair and sitting in it. "I overslept."
I shake my head, "It's... okay Xander. As a matter of fact, go ahead and introduce yourself."
He gave me a look and chuckled a little. "Now?"
I nod my head, "Yes now."
He sighed, looking around at everyone. He flicked his brown eyes at me, then everyone else again. It was like he was debating on whether to talk or not.
He opened his mouth, but he closed it with a smile across his face. He looked at me, smiling and shook his head no.
"Xander, come one everyone wants to know you." I smiled, while he shook his head no folding his arms.
"Xander-"
"Nope." He cut me off, making me irritated. He knew it made me irritated, he does this every time we have a group meeting. I don't know what his problem was but he will not talk.
I sigh, rolling my eyes. "What about you Hunter?" I asked, seeing that all eyes where on him. He didn't say anything but scanned the room with his eyes.
I don't think he likes the attention. I've never heard him talk. He comes almost every year but he doesn't say anything to anyone.
"My friend here, Hunter doesn't talk." Xander said, making me roll my eyes.
"I'm pretty sure he has something to share with us." I smiled at him. He gave me a stare but didn't say anything. He did scare me with that stare of his.
"Nah, he's not going to talk." Xander continued to talk. I looked at the time on my watch to see it was time to go do activities.
"Okay, our meeting session is over." I smiled, about to talk more when everyone decided to leave out. "Which means to collect your chairs and stack them" I finished, seeing no one in here but me.
I pulled one of the chairs and stacked them on the other. "You know, You can't make someone talk." I heard a deep voice say beside me. I noticed that it was Xander stacking a chair.
"I didn't." I said, which he stacked another chair, looking at me.
"You did."
I stacked another chair and looked at him. "Are you always like this?"
