Xander POV
"So you really got to go?" Danny asked, looking down at my exposed ankle.
I had on some shorts and a tank top with my cross and gold chain. I leave to go to camp today so I packed all I need for it.
"Yeah bro. Uggh!! It's fucking frustrating!! My dad is so rich and yet he couldn't get me out of this." I yelled out in frustration. "I'm not going to see you guys in three months, Kennedy, or my mom."
Danny and Wes gave me a sad look, but I could've sworn I saw Wes smile a little when I said that.
"But what about your dad?" Danny asked, arching his brow.
"I don't care about him." I told Danny. I gave him the serious look and all.
He nodded slowly, not saying anything else.
"Manes!!!" I heard someone yell.
I knew that voice from anywhere. Zach Ramze, uncle Asher's nephew. He was a year younger than me and he's cool. Danny was okay with him but Wes didn't really care too much for him.
Wes said that he wasn't really all that popular and he said that he was annoying.
But he wasn't wrong about Zach being annoying. He was... at times. But most of the times, he's a cool ass kid.
I heard a slight groan from Wes and I looked at Wes. "He's not a bad kid."
"Dude! He's annoying!!" Wes spoke and I rolled my eyes.
"He's not bad." I repeated but I heard a scoff from Wes.
"I beg to differ." Wes mumbled. Danny shakes his head, not trying to jump into the conversation.
Zach came into my room, smiling as hard as he could. "Wassup Manes." We both dapped each other up and hugged then we pulled away.
"I heard you were leaving this summer..." he trailed, looking down at my ankle. He backed up, shaking his head. "And it seems that you got in some shit for doing that to the school."
He nod his head in approval, smiling. "I'm impressed."
"Well you know me. I don't back out of shit." He laughed and looked at Danny and Wes.
"Wassup you two." He was about to dap them up but Wes didn't. Danny was about to but Wes stopped him. I arched a brow at the two of them.
They've been acting real weird today. Every since I told them I'm leaving, they acted differently. Like they were showing me some shit I didn't really pay attention to.
"We'll be downstairs if you need us." Wes said, walking with Danny out my room.
"Aye did you know your friends are assholes?" He pointed behind him while I laughed.
