Xander POV

The line started to move but as I walked someone bumped into me on my side. I groaned loudly, getting irritated. I'm already pissed that I have to spend my summer at a camp and now this!

"Bro! Watch where you're fucking walking!!" I yelled out. I looked at him to see that he looked shocked at my outburst.

His eyebrows shot up and his mouth dropped open. I mocked him by doing the same expressions.

"Yeah, I'm talking to you eyeglasses. Your doctor prescribed you the wrong ones, because obviously you can't see."

I saw the way he was balling up his fists and I started smiling. Oooh I struck a nerve on four eyes.

"Oooh what you going to do bifocals? Use your glasses as a weapon?" I laughed, taunting the guy.

"Don't ever call me bifocals again!!!" He screamed, which I didn't take him serious. People started whispering and I was still smiling, looking at him.

"Bifocals." I challenged and I saw his face turning red. He threw his fist back about to "hit" me when someone caught his hand. It was a dark skin boy that caught his hand.

He also looked familiar to me. Why?

"Matt, stop man. You don't want to go to the hole do you?" The guy named Matt hesitated at first but then sighed, putting his fist down.

"But Hakim he called-"

I didn't listen after that cause that name Hakim sounded familiar too.

"It doesn't matter Matt, I don't want you to get in trouble bro. Let me talk to him and go calm down."

Matt nodded at him. Then he looked at me and glared. He walked away which caused the dark skin guy to chuckle.

I looked more at the dark skin guy and remembered him instantly.

"My bad bro. He has a short temper-" He stopped talking when he really looked at me too.

Hakim Davis. This dude was my Best friend since I could remember. I was suppose to go to 5th grade but that all failed when I got in trouble. Big trouble at public school and got kicked out.

Me and Hakim lost touch after that. Our friendship became more of a history.

"Hakim Davis?" I questioned and he nod his head slowly. But I guess he realized who I was cause he started smiling big.

"Alexander Manes?"

I smiled, nodding my head.

We both dapped each other up and gave a long hug. He took a step back and had his mouth covered, but then put his hand down.

"My ex-best friend. I haven't seen you since-"

"I moved from public school." I nodded my head, smiling.

"What the hell you doing here, this is a camp for-"

"Delinquents." I finished and he had a surprised look on his face.

"Why are you here? You were a nice kid... well when your anger didn't get to you." I started smiling.

"You still know me don't you?"

He laughs, nodding his head. "We were boys since diapers. I should be able to know who you are."

I chuckled, "What are you doing here? You never really got into trouble."

"I'm here because I'm a camp counselor. But I think you remembered how my mom was." He rolled his eyes. I laughed, shaking my head.

I remembered how Mrs. Davis was. She always wanted the best for Hakim. She wanted all good deeds on his transcripts so he could go to a good college. She didn't play though. She was just like mom.
