Hello everyone! This one shot was requested by ChillaxStar16 so I hope you and everyone else enjoys this! Also, go check out their books because they're amazing! Anyway, onto the one shot!

Jack's POV

Katherine has told me that she loves me as more than friends, but I don't exactly feel the same way. I'm scared to tell her because I think she'll get angry at me and hate me.

"Jack? Jack!" someone says and I snap out of my thoughts.

"Oh hey Davey," I say as my cheeks flush and I smile at him.

"Hello. It's time to sell papers," Davey says and I sigh. I nod and stand up. I walk over to Davey and we start to walk to the paper stand.

"Morning Weasel," I say and lean against the counter.

"For the last time, my name is Mister Wisel," Wisel says and glares.

"Sure thing Weasel," I say as I pull out two quarters and Wisel becomes more angry.

"The usual good sir," I say and hand him my quarters.

"A hundred papers for the cowboy," Wisel yells you the Delanceys. Oscar hands me my papers and I grab them. I count the papers to make sure he gave me a hundred. He did in fact, so I waited for Davey.

"You better count right for Davey," I tell Oscar which results in him looking like he going to punch me.

"Oscar! Give the kid fifty papers," Wisel orders and Oscars looks over at him.

"Yea Oscar," I say with a slight smirk and leans against the counter. Oscar glares at me and hands Davey his papers. I stand up and walk away with Davey.

"You need to stop doing that. You're going to get yourself hurt," Davey says and I look at him.

"How else am I going to show my hatred towards them," I say and walk farther away from Davey.

Katherine's POV (Hmm)

I have feelings for Jack, but it's pretty obvious he has feelings for Davey.

"There they are!" Les says and I snap out of my thoughts.

"Hey Les," I say, getting a sudden idea.

"Huh?" he asks and looks at me.

"What if we try to set them up," I say and he gives me a confused look.

"Set them up to become a couple," I say and he lets out an 'oh.'

"Yea! Let's do that!" Les says and smiles.

"But how?" he asks and I think.

"Oh! We can bring them to Medda's theater and say we're meeting up there and then they see each other and confess. You bring Davey, obviously, and I'll bring Jack!" I explain and smile.

"Yes ma'am," Les says as he salutes and we shake on it.

Jack's POV

I keep catching myself looking over at Davey and smiling.

Do I like Davey? I could because I don't have feelings for Katherine. He is pretty attractive, and kind, and funny, and did I say attractive? I think and smile.

"What are you smiling about over there?" Davey asks and smiles at me. I snap out of my thoughts and blush.

"N-Nothing," I say and curse my stutter.

"Whatever you say," Davey says and pats my head. I feel a tap on my shoulder and jump slightly. I turn around and see Katherine.

"Oh hi Kath. I actually wanted to tell you something," I say and smile slightly at her.

"What is it?" she asks and smiles at me.

"Well, um...don't be mad, but I don't think I have romantic feelings for you," I say and look down.

"Oh, that's fine," she says and I look up at her with a confused look.

"Really?" I ask and she nods.

"Well good," I say and smile.

"I came over here to ask you something. Are you doing anything later today?" she asks and smiles at me.

"No. Why?" I ask and look at her with a confused look.

"Well, I was going to ask you to go to Medda's theater with me, as friends though," she says and nods.

"Sure, why not," I say and shrug.

"Great! See you then!" Katherine says and walks away. I shrug and continue to sell my papers.

~Time Skip to Medda's Theater~

I walk into the theater and look around. I don't see Katherine so I go on the stage and look at my previous backdrop I painted. I hear the door open and turn my head toward the door. I see Davey and smile at him.

"Hey, I wasn't expecting you to be here," I say and he walks onto the stage.

"Yea, I wasn't expecting you here either," Davey says and smiles at me.

"Katherine told me to meet her here," I say and look back at the backdrop.

"Les told me to come here," he says and I realize something.

"They're setting ya us up," I mumble to myself and smile softly.

"What did you say?" Davey asks and I shake my head.

"It's nothing."

"Well, since you're here, I wanted to tell you something," Davey says sheepishly and I turn towards him.

"Hm?" I ask and show that I'm listening.

"Well, I have a crush on you, but you probably like Katherine and not me. This is probably stupid and you're going to laugh at me-" Davey rambles on until I walk up to him and kiss him. Davey happily kisses me back and I hear clapping. I turn my head to see Katherine and Les clapping.

"I knew you guys tried to set us up!" I say and smiles at them.

"How could we not? You guys are adorable together," Katherine says and smiles.

"Well, I'm glad I finally confessed," Davey says and hugs me. I hug him back tightly and smile.

"See what I mean? Adorable!" Katherine says and smiles widely at us.

"Yea yea Kath," I say and jokingly roll my eyes at her.

"Hey! Don't roll your eyes at me," she says as she lightly smacks me and I laugh.

"I'm glad you finally confessed Davey. It was pretty obvious you liked him. You would always talk about him, you kept staring at him, you wrote about hi-" Les rambles on and Davey covers Les's mouth with his hand.

"Let's not go telling Jack about that," Davey says and looks at him.

"You talked about me and stared at me?" I ask and smile at him as he blushes.

"Y-Yea," he spits out and my smile grows.

"Well I always stared at you too. Not in a creepy way though," I specify and walk over to Davey. I kiss him again and he quickly kisses me back. I pull away from him and smile. I can finally kiss Davey and he will kiss me back.
