THE MURDER MYSTERY: BLACKTAN ✔

1: Here we begin

Rose stepped out of the car, waving her mom a small bye. As she stood there, looking at her school. SNHS, nothing much changed. The air was still fresh and you can hear the noise of students talking and shouting. The building looked better though, maybe it went under renovation? Everything was still the same, you can still see the boys flirting with the girls and the girls gossiping about fashion, the only thing that felt different to Rosie was, that she was alone. Maybe all her friends were alone? or did they got back together? 

"Rose, is that you?" Rose turned to see Jisoo, looking much better than the last time she met her. Jisoo's hair was now long and she looked like a princess. She was wearing a black skirt and a white shirt, not her sweats and a blue T-Shirt. 

"Jisoo, Hi," Rose said a bit lightly as she studied her. They both started walking towards the school gate as Jisoo spoke up again

"When did you got back?" 

Rose replied, "um just 2 days back."

"You know you should have called or texted us, me or others," Jisoo said a bit lightly this time

"You know we lost touch" Rose replied looking down

"Yeah. We did. All of us lost touch" Jisoo said, sadness filling her voice

"So what's your first class?" Jisoo said trying to change the topic

"English. What about you?" Rose asked her

"Oh, I have Science. See you around?" Jisoo said before grabbing her books from the locker

"Yeah, sure," Rose said 

Entering the English classroom, she noticed Jin first. He smiled a bit looking at her as she did the same. She took her seat next to him. Both of them were nervous to start a conversation. Rose saw Namjoon entering the classroom too as they both awkwardly looked at each other. 

"He got glasses," Rose said lightly

Jin heard her and replied back, "he is the school topper now, Straight As in everything." Rose nodded as then Jin spoke up "and there's Jennie" pointing to the door as Rose looked at the door to see, a brand new Jennie, she looked really classy and whole model material. Jennie saw her too and waved a bit. "and that's Joohyun" Jin said pointing to the girl who walked with Jennie talking to her. Rose's jaw dropped as she said "That's Joohyun? Not possible". "It is, they both are it, girls, now" 

Joohyun was no longer wearing her polka dress which was too long. Her hair was no longer in braids. Instead, she wore the short knit dress from Valentino's latest collection, her hair was in a high ponytail and she was wearing dark lipstick and sunglass.

Soon, the class begins. Trying to not think about the past, Rose started to focus on the lesson, Mrs.Yoo was teaching. 45 minutes later, the bell rang as Mrs. Yoo left the class. 

"So you are coming to Bang Chan's party tomorrow?" Jin asked her as they both stood up

Bang Chan was the school's party guy for 6 years and he invited everyone from 7th to 12th-grade to his party. 

"No, I don't think so. I just got here and I don't wanna really party." Rose replied politely before moving out of the class. She went to her locker and took out her phone, there was a text message.  Rose opened the message 

Hey Rosie

           You better attend the party tomorrow. There is going to be a lot of fun and who knows what you will see there ;) 

I hope to see you there and remember tomorrow it is Somi's birthday ;)

Rose first looked at the whole corridor, Jin stood there but he was talking to his friend, and he didn't even have a phone in his hand. No one did. She closed her phone immediately and gulped. Tomorrow is really Somi's birthday... What fun? "I need to go" Rose whispered to herself

Rose wasn't the only one who received the message. The rest 11 did too. The thought of Somi's birthday and then what fun was being talked about in the message kept bothering them. Something felt terribly wrong and they all wanted to skip the time, like in movies and stories to see what is happening. After 2 peaceful years, what is going to happen now?
