It was 7:30 am and the halls of SNHS started to get noisy as the students arrived. Chit-chatting with each other as the gossips could be heard everywhere. Taehyung closed his locker as he took out his math textbook for the first class. "Hey" he turned around to see Lisa standing next to him. "Hey," he said turning towards her, smiling a bit. "So, did you got any message last night?" she asked. "Thankfully no, I was finally able to get my sleep after 4 stressful days" he replied as she nodded. As Taehyung and Lisa talked, the other nine also arrived. They all noticed each other but they weren't that close to run up to each other right? They just smiled a bit and continued doing their work, until, the school speaker started an announcement
"Kim Seokjin, Kim Jisoo, Kim Namjoon, Jung Hoseok, Lalisa Manoban, Kim Taehyung, Jennie Kim, Jeon Jungkook, Roseanne Park, Min Yoongi and Park Jimin. Please reach the school meeting room right now"
Everyone in the hallway looked at them, as the 11 looked at each other too, confused. They all placed their books or whatever they were carrying in their lockers as they started to walk towards the school meeting room. Jisoo knocked first as the reply came from inside "Please come in"
The eleven entered the room as they all saw two police officers, one sitting on the chair while one of them stood next to him, the eleven recognized the one who was sitting. He was the one who talked to them on the day of Somi's memorial service.
"I am so sorry for calling you during your school time but we have to interview you all right now. I am Ruiz, the chief of the police. Please have a seat," the one who was sitting spoke up as he pointed to two couches and 2 chairs.
They all tried to maintain their composure as Jin sighed before speaking up, "That's not a big issue, sir. We will try to help"
"Okay so, as far as I know, you all were the last people who saw Somi before she died. She was with you all? Am I right?" Ruiz asked staring right into their soul
Namjoon licked off his dry lip before he answered the question, as politely as ever, "Yes sir, you are right. All of us and Somi were at my house and we heard some noise outside, so she said, she will go and check out but she never returned" the others were obviously a bit shocked when they heard what Namjoon replied but they acted like he was saying, exactly what they all were thinking.
"What kind of noise?" Ruiz asked them raising an eyebrow
Jennie looked at Ruiz for a second before replying, "We don't really know how to describe it, but it was like a car siren or something like that."
"Why did you allowed Somi to go alone?' Ruiz asked tilting his neck
Jimin gave an unnoticeable eye roll before speaking up "She wasn't a 4 year old, if we knew that she will go missing, then we wouldn't have let her go alone"
Ruiz nodded as he asked various questions like what time was it, did you notice anything strange in her behavior and other questions that the police normally asks. The eleven answered connecting theirs to the previous answer. It was like telepathy, they all could understand what the other wanted them to ask.
