You were in the kitchen and it was early in the morning. Tomorrow is Felix's birthday and you decided to make him one of his favourites, chocolate chip cookies. You take a look at the time on the oven. 4:06am. You were suprised that you could even get up this early, let alone not make too much noise to wake up Felix while clumsily dropping baking tins and bowls.

You and Felix have been friends since before you were born because you guy's moms were bestfriends growing up. Luckily, you also grew up together on the same street. You two have always been there for eachother through the best and the worst, through every breakup and bruised knee. Felix was the typical guy best friend you could go to for anything, and you two were so close you would even die for eachother.

After you and Felix learned how to bake the day before your 8th birthday, you two made it tradition that every year you both would make cookies for eachother the day before the other's birthday. So, about a year ago when you were accepted into a Korean study abroad program, you both were crushed. Felix still managed to keep up with the tradition by mailing you your cookies after you moved away. Baking was your favourite thing to do, and your studies prevented you from doing it as much as you wanted to. Because it was almost Felix's birthday you were about to return the favour until about a week ago when Felix called.

~Tuesday, 8:46 pm, Call accepted~
F:"Y/n, where are you?"

"Well Hi to you too Lixie. Home, why whats wrong?"

F:"I just so happen to be auditioning near where you live, and I would love it if my best friend would let me stay with her."

"You know you're always invited to stay. But uhhh...audition for what Lix?"

F: "JYP....You think I can pull this off?"

"JYP?! LIKE.....BIG THREE MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT?! THIS IS EXCITING! Don't stress, you're amazing. They'd be idiots if they don't take you. Wait......when would you be here?"

F: "Tomorrow...It's a suprise on what time though. Waeee?? Oooo... is Y/n having boys over??"

"Yes, a Lee Yongbokie. You already know my place is a bit of a mess, so im gonna make room for you. But on that note Im gonna go so I can clean up. Byee!"

~Call ended~

And just as he had said, the next day the fellow Aussie showed up on your door step like a lost puppy. Any space you used you gave him half. You both went from being in different continents to sharing a room, just like you two had done for your infamous sleepovers. You didn't know how long he was staying, but if you guys lived together until he achieved his dream, that was okay with you.

Just as you were about to take the cookies out of the oven, you glanced at the clock, 5:33. After taking the cookies out and putting them on the counter, you looked up to find a wild, groggy Felix. "Y/n?," ,he says in his small sleepy voice,"Are those cookies for me?" "Of course Lixie, when have I never given you birthday cookies? What are you doing up?" "The smell woke me up. They're THAT good." He said with a shy grin. You laugh.

"These cookies really mean so much to me, you know?" Felix says. Felix has always been the type of person to talk about how he feels, but its rare that he shows his sensetive side. He began to tear up. "Y/n. When you left I felt like a piece of me was gone. I started baking because it felt like I still had a piece of you with me. Then, when I found out that this could be my one shot to make it, I was excited but terrified. You always said I would get there one day, and now I'm doing it, but I only know a little Korean and I signed myself up to come live in a place so foreign to me. All I thought about were all the times you supported me, all of our calls, and as soon as I heard what city the audition was in, I cried." The brunette haired boy began to cry but held back as many tears as he could. "Knowing that you were here, made me feel not so scared anymore. When I'm here with you I feel at home. These cookies remind me of home and good memories. They remind me of you and I'm glad I dont need to have them sent in a box because it isn't the same."

You bawled your eyes out. Noone has ever said that to you, let alone your best friend. Everything he said was how you felt about him. His opinion means everything to you and now that he told you how much he appreciates you, it meant even more. He wiped his face, and began wiping your tears away. He grabbed you for a tight embrace and you wanted to cry even more, but his body heat was so warm it comforted you and calmed you down.

"OH! YANNO WHAT WOULD MAKE IT SOOOO MUCH FUNNER?" You interupt and giggle, "Lix funner isnt a word." "BROWNIES, I've been making them recently! I can make some for you." As tempting as it sounded, you were pretty beat from getting up so early and Felix's body heat was almost putting you fast asleep. "Actually Lix," You yawn,"I'm getting pretty sleepy." You glance at the clock. 5:52 am, and it was still pretty dark outside. "I could get some more sleep too. Alright, well then lets go back to sleep, yea Y/n?"

Felix helped put away the cookies, and led you back to your bed. Before felix could get back on his air matress you spoke. "Lixie.....can you come sleep up here with me?" After you both poured out emotions you felt different, all you wanted was Felix in that moment. You missed him. You thought you would have to really convince him to, but with little hesitation, Felix slid under the covers with you and held you tightly. And as quickly as you felt it, his body heat put you fast asleep in his arms. He really must have missed you too.
