~your POV~
Well here you were looking for your good friend Jean.
Everyone has been worried and looking for him not knowing where he is.
You on the other hand knew where he was as you and him had a little secret spot you two would always go to.
Slowly heading up the little mountain you were approaching the secret location.
As you started getting closer you could hear soft sniffles and cries from the area the sound getting louder and louder as you grew more worried by the second.
Finally getting to the location you saw you best friend sitting there with his knees pulled to his chest holding himself as he was crying uncontrollably.

(The secret place)
Being the worried friend you are you ran up to jean giving him a huge bear hug letting him cry in your chest as you slowly petted his head reassuringly whispering words of encouragement.
After some time he had calmed down a bit so you could finally ask him what was wrong.
"Jean what's wrong?"
You asked.
"I-its just... It's my f-fault t-that he d-died...."
He said between sniffles and small cries.
As he said that you right away knew what he was talking about..
He thought that it was his fault Marco died.
U hugged him tighter letting let all his feelings out.
"Jean it was not your fault he died"
You told him holding him close to you as Jean slowly wrapped his arms around your waist calming down in your warm embrace.
"I wasn't there to save him...."
Jean implied still blaming himself for what happend.
"No one knew this was going to happen Jean it's not your fault."
You explained trying to comfort your friend.
"[Y/N]?"
Jean said while bringing his head up to look you in the eyes.
"Yes?"
You answered back at him.
"Will you possibly marry me after all this titan stuff is over?"
Jean asked a light blush on his cheeks, a even brighter blush on your face
"I would love that"
You exclaimed back giving the male in front of you a warm smile.
Jean then slowly leaned in chulping your cheeks in his hand as he slowly leaned in to kiss you.
The kiss was short yes passionate as the both of you slowly pulled away.
Jean hugged you nestling his face in the crook of your neck as you played with his hair.
"I love you [Y/N]"
"I love you to jean"
The both of you said being comfortable in each others arms...
