I drove down to the Eurwangni beach in Mun's car which she had let me borrow, only because it was for a need which concerned Jimin.

She was very protective of her car. We used to crack jokes on her over protectiveness whenever we were together. But she was kind enough to let me borrow it.

It was a beautiful beach, away from the city. Not at all crowded. Seemed like the perfect place to live. The beach stretched till as far as I could see and they were about five cliffs along its length. The rocks right below were black with off white patches where the water lashed on continuously.

There were a few scarce shrubs right beside the rocks. I then noticed a log of wood lying on the sand. I found a path down to the beach and I was planning on sitting on the log which apparently was the only decent place where I could.

Seonghwa hadn't reached here yet. Maybe I was early. I checked my watch to see that I was about six minutes early. I took in the peaceful atmosphere of the beach which was hard to find in Seoul. The wind lashed against my face and I could taste the salt on my tongue. My hair was flying all over my face as I had left it untied.

Just as I was taking in the peaceful atmosphere of the beach, I heard a car pull up just behind where I had parked Mun's car. I saw Seonghwa stepping out of the car with a book in his hand. The book looked like it had been through some kind of catastrophe. Its sides were folded and the cover looked dusty. But it looked big and hefty.

"Hey, Hyun!" he called out to me just as he descended from the path I had used to come down to the beach.

"Hey!" I called back to him. My anger seemed to have vanished when I saw Seonghwa. He was probably the cutest and happiest guy in our high school, right after Jimin, just without the happy part. His brown eyes in contrast to his white skin. I was almost envious of his smooth black hair which hung over his eyes. He used to brush it off now and then.

"I'm sorry I'm late." He apologized.

"Oh no. Don't be sorry. I'm the one who was early. You're right on time." I said flashing a smile.

"You are way too kind!" he said and grinned his boyish smile back at me.

"So, are you going to tell me a story or are you going to tell me why you called Jimin a 'leech'?" I asked pointing to the gigantic book in his hands.

"Ha! Both!"

"What?!"

"Well, a story about Jimin."

"There's a story about Jimin in that book? You're kidding me, right?" I asked amazed.

"Nope. Not kidding. It's not exactly about Jimin. It's about why I called him a leech."

"Oh okay. We've got plenty of time." I said, thinking the story might take a while and not exactly knowing what he had meant.

"Hmm....So"

"Yea?"

"First of all you have to promise me not to tell anyone about this. Okay? And also that you won't freak out or anything, well, at least not before I finish the story."

"Okay. I promise. And why would I freak out?"

"Wait for it." He said, solemnity edging in his voice.

"Hmm."
