"You see, Hyun, there are some legends about certain people which actually are true. This book has a lot of those legends, especially about the 'shape shifters' and the 'cold ones'. Now what I say next might surprise you. Do you believe in vampires?"

"Nope. I've seen a few Dracula movies but not one of them was scary enough to make me believe in them!" I said giggling.

"Hmm." He wasn't amused with my joke.

"Well, you will not believe this but the legends state that vampires do exist among us."

"What?! That's – " There is no way that, that was true.

"I know. Hard to believe, right?" He interrupted me and started flipping through the book and settled on a page. He handed the book to me.

"See here. The 'cold ones'." He indicated.

What I read absolutely shocked me. It said that vampires did exist and that there were covens of them in different parts of the world. The largest of them was the Olympic coven in U.S. It said in this book that the cold ones used to feed on the blood of humans. They did not eat food or drink water the way humans did. Their eye colours would always be bright and would change to a lighter shade when they are fed and a darker shade when they are hungry. It also said that their skin would be pale, white, and powdery, stone hard and cold as ice. They would be the most beautiful creatures on the planet.

"How-how d-do they b-be-become vampires?!" I stuttered feeling terrified. Such people lingered among us?

"The vampire can bite a human and the venom changes them into a vampire."

"And you're saying that some people like them linger among us?!" I asked him.

"Not just some people."

"What?!"

"Uhm. There are vampires here in Seoul, Hyun."

"Huh?"

"And three of the youngest vampires attend our high school."

"Wha-"I didn't know what to say. Our high school?! Had I come across them? Was moving to Seoul a bad idea? Thought like this flooded me when a line I read in the book stopped me dead.

'The cold ones are pale, beautiful and the most beautiful creatures on this planet. Their eye colours are bright and would change according to their thirst.'

"HUH! Taehyung! Jungkook! JIMIN!" I gasped. Images of Jimin in black, looking pale crossed my mind. He was smiling, almost a smirk. That made him more dangerous! Too dangerous. Whoa! He was a vampire?! How can he be a vampire?!

"Yes."

"How?"

"Their father, Dr.Kim Hamin changed them, including his wife, Kim Jog Yuen."

"And they live here? They hunt humans, here, in Seoul?"

"Oh no!!! You've got it all wrong"

"Huh?"

"You see, centuries ago in Forks, Washington, there was a vampire named Carlisle Cullen. He was not like the usual vampires. He didn't feed on human blood. He fed on animal blood. He was against vampires hunting innocent humans. He was the good guy. He once trespassed into the territory of the wolves' unknowi-"

"WOLVES?!"

"Oh yeah. In this supernatural world you should be glad we're all humans. And yes, there are wolves too. Werewolves."

"Okay. Continue."

"He once trespassed into the territory of the wolves unknowingly. You see, wolves and vampires are mutual enemies. So, the leader of the pack decided that they should kill him as he trespassed into their territory. But when they talked to them they realized that, he was a good vampire unlike the others. And they spared his wife and son, Esme Cullen and Edward Cullen. They ended up writing a treaty which stated that a treaty border was to be drawn and that the wolves would keep its side and the vampires theirs. The Cullens agreed and there was peace."

"Why do I sense an 'until'?" I asked him, starting to digest the fact that Jimin was a 'vegetarian' vampire.

"Until....A girl named Bella Swan came to Forks. The vampire, Edward and the wolf, Jacob both fell in love with her. She ended up choosing the vampire but a war had happened between the two. In the end they all became friends, and lived happily together, the peace with the wolves back. And by 'in the end' I mean a few years back."
"Did Bella become a vampire?"

"Yes."

"Hmm. Okay."

"And...."

"Oh there's more?" I asked thinking that was it.

"Yup...There's a reason why Jimin or his family can't come to the Eurwangni beach."

"Oh my gosh! Is there some kind of treaty line here too?!"

"Wow! You catch on fast!"

"What? There are wolves here?!"

"Not at the moment. My great grandfather was a wolf. But then my dad wasn't. I'm definitely not."

I stepped away from him as I heard that 'wolf' was in his genes.

"You don't have to be afraid of me. I'm not going to turn into a wolf right now! I'm NOT a wolf, Hyun."
