Should I go back?  I thought. Jimin was angry, that was why I left, yes. Even though I knew he wouldn't hurt me, why did I run away? In that moment, when I saw him I knew what he meant by 'I can put your life at risk'.

I can't think about this now. I drove through the busy roads of Seoul. I could've taken the easy route to reach our apartment faster, but instead I chose the main road. The byroads reminded me of small closed places, and I didn't really find them comfortable. I needed to be in the sunlight. Needed to be near people. I looked out the window and saw that most people were couples enjoying their day. Very few of them had coffees in their hands and a handbag in the other. I assumed they were workaholics who worked even on holidays. Then there were a few girls and boys who were conducting a K pop performance.

I stopped the car and got out, because I really needed to be around people. They were singing a song I didn't know when i had gotten out. I looked around at the trees,- which were decreasing in number day by day,- and also the very tall buildings.

The song ended and they started playing another one. This one, I knew. But I didn't pay much attention to it.

"Excuse me?" asked a voice from behind. I turned back to see a tall guy looking at me, slightly leaning forward. He had the same powdery white skin, and as soon as I saw him I took a step back.

"Don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt you" he assured me, smiling a huge eye smile. He smiled just like Jimin. But how was he out in the sunlight? Isn't that unsafe for them?

"I'm Cha Eun Woo, a friend of Jimin's. I'm from an American cult, a very rare one actually. We can walk out in the sunlight, in case you were wondering." When I didn't reply, he continued, "Jimin asked me to check on you. He was worried."

Jimin never told me about a friend like this. Cha Eun Woo? I was sure I'd never heard his name before. I was brought back to reality. I realized I was blankly staring at him and listening. I cleared my throat and answered, "Hi. I'm Park Hyunho, you might already know that. And yes, I was thinking exactly about the um, 'sunlight' thing."

He smiled and asked, "Do you wanna go talk somewhere quieter?"

"Umm..." I didn't actually want to leave. I wanted to be near other people.

"We can stay here too. It's okay." he said and came closer to me. I, unknowingly, took one more step back.

"You don't have to keep moving away" he said and chuckled. I took a step towards him, and I could feel the cold radiating from his skin. He was very tall, actually. He had smooth brown hair and a cute face.

"Why did Jimin send you here?" I asked.

"He was worried. And I happened to visit him at the perfect time."

"Perfect time?"

"You'll come to know later." he said and winked. A wink? Seriously? People should let me in on a lot more. It's not like I can't handle secrets.

"Why'd you run away?" he asked when I didn't respond.

"He thinks, I can't take care of myself, and also that he's too dangerous for me."

"And you don't believe that?"

"No. He's not dangerous for me. I know it."

"You can't really say."

He was starting to piss me off."Why are you even here?" I asked sternly.

"Calm down, I was joking." he said and smile his eye smile at me. Smiling a beautiful smile isn't gonna do the work. I still don't trust him.
