Eyes With Secrets

It was the day of the Quileute bonfire.

 Mun, Areum and I had decided to go shopping that morning.

 First of all, because we needed a break from all the school work, which was getting hectic day by day. And second, Mun and Areum wouldn't let me go to the bonfire, if I wasn't wearing a pretty outfit. I told them that it was just a gathering of friends and wasn't formal. I told them that there was no need to buy a new dress just for the bonfire. But Mun said, "Seonghwa will be there. We don't want to disappoint him, do we?" and giggled. Yes, she giggled. 

We had just had breakfast and was getting our things together. We were planning to go to a smaller city just outside Seoul. Areum had done her research and had found out that the streets in Itaewon were best for thrift shopping.

Areum was driving today. She was a good driver, but she liked to drive fast. She had promised she wouldn't go fast today, which was why Mun had allowed her to take the car. It was funny hearing Mun make her promise she wouldn't go fast.

We went to this small shop that had a nice aesthetic look from outside. Inside, it had beautiful white sheets hanging from the roof, draped in the most beautiful way possible. There were white lights from different angles in the ceiling too, that added to its aesthetic. The floors were beautifully polished wood and the walls were brick.The shop was really beautiful. There were wooden stands with stacks of clothes. All kind of clothes. Very beautiful clothes.

We were trying on a few of them, when my eyes caught sight of a car pulling on to the driveway next to where our car was parked.

It was not just any car. It was the same grey Volvo. It was Jimin's car! My heart started beating faster. Why was Jimin here? Would I be able to meet him after so long? I was lost in thought, clutching the dress I had in my hand, that I didn't notice who had gotten out from the car. It was Taehyung and Jungkook. Jimin wasn't with them. Sadness rushed through me. 

I realized that Mun was standing right beside me. I searched the shop with my eyes for Areum but she was nowhere to be seen. 

"She's in the try-on room." Mun told me. "She might not want to hear this."

"Oh." I said.Oh no. I knew what was going to happen.  "Is this about Seonghwa telling me the legends?"

"Yes, dear. But it's going to be fine. They just want to know how much you do." Mun said and hugged my waist.

Jungkook walked in with Taehyung right behind him. Both of them walked in such elegance and grace, that I had to stare at them. They were too beautiful! Of course it was because they were vampires, but the walk was too beautiful. 

"Hey, Hyunho! I'm Jeon Jungkook. It's nice to finally meet you" Jungkook said and raised a hand expecting me to shake his hands. He was very friendly. I wasn't expecting it.

"Hey. It's nice to meet you too." I said and I shook his hands, returning his fond smile. The moment my hand touched his a shiver ran down my spine. He was cold like ice. It was the first time I was touching a vampire. I didn't know they would be this cold.
