Eyes With Secrets

We had a good time at lunch. Mun, Areum and I had started with our food, when 'the three brothers' had joined us. They didn't eat anything. Well, because they were vampires. I had just come to know that vampires didn't eat. They only drank blood. Ugh, the whole thought of drinking blood revolted me. 

Areum and I had gym next. Mun had engineering. The boys had the same class, Physics, but were planning on skipping the class. All three of them were very excited to skip class. Ahh the thrill they have from bunking class. Haha. They were very cheerful that day at lunch, especially Jimin. He threw glances at me occasionally, and also planted chaste kisses on my cheek when no one was watching. I could see people looking in our direction when we all laughed-mostly at Tae or Kook being goofy-with an expression on their face, that was of surprise, or so I guessed. I caught a few of them staring at me and Jimin, sitting so close. I'm sure they were all intelligent enough to figure out that we both were together by now. 

"They're just curious. We've never been this open to people." Jimin whispered into my ear.

"Oh." I said.

"Don't worry. They'll get used to seeing the six of us together." Jimin said and grinned a wide smile. I couldn't help, but smile back at him.

Just as he had finished saying this, Jungkook got up.

"Guys, I need to go somewhere. But I'll be back before class. It won't be long." Kook muttered, a shy smile playing around his lips.

"Okay, but make sure you're quick. We're planning on going down to Itaewon."

"Ah yes." Kook said and ran his hand through his hair. hesitating to go.

"It's okay Jungkook-ah, just come fast. We won't be la-" Jimin said,but was interrupted by Jungkook.

"Oh, it's not that." Jungkook said.

"Then what's the problem?" I asked.

"Uhm."

"C'mon Kook, you can tell us." Mun said.

"Uhm, Areum...Can you come with me to the park?"

"Aghh this is what you wanted to say, huh?!" Taehyung said, jolting up from his seat and patting Jungkook's back, with a force that was slightly more than what was needed.

"Hey, stop!" Jungkook said, making it want to sound like a threat but, came out more of like a request.

"Ayy Kim Are-" Tae started to say when Jungkook placed his hand on Tae's mouth and punched him in the stomach.Ouch, that must've hurt.

I turned over to Areum."Go have fun," I said and winked at hir, a smirk spreading across my lips. She knew very well what it meant.

"Yes, Areum. Go on.We'll be here. Right guys?" Mun said.

"Yes."

"Yes."

Jimin and I said at the same time.

"Ye-s-h" Tae said fighting Jungkook to take his hand off his mouth.It was fun to watch the guys at ease. Jimin was laughing at them too.

"Uhm yea. Sure, I'll come with you." Areum said smiling shyly.

Kook took his hands from Tae's face, who brushed it off farther away from him.

"Thanks Areum." Kook said, running his hand through his hair.

"Go on then." Jimin said gesturing towards Areum and Kook.

We watched them walking towards the basketball court.It was the easy way to the park. Well, if you wanted to go without getting caught. They maintained about a feet between them. Jeez!

Mun and I had class together after lunch. Jimin and Tae had classes in another block.Since, we all knew Kook and Areum wouldn't return soon, the boys decided to drop their plans on bunking class. So they got up to leave. Jimin placed a soft peck on my lips. And Tae on Mun's. I could hear people whispering about Jimin and I, carefully making sure we didn't see them looking in our direction.Ugh.

"Don't mind them." Jimin whispered into my ear and smiled.

"Of course not." I said and returned his smile.

Mun and I went to our class, a few minutes after the boys had left.

"Hey, what if Areum comes to know about their secret?" I asked Mun, as we were walking to our class.

"Why are you suddenly asking that?" Mun said and chuckled.

"What if they both end up dating? Wouldn't Areum have doubts?"

"Yea, she will. But I'm sure Jungkook already has a plan in mind. He wouldn't decide to confess if he didn't have a proper plan."

"Yup.You're right." I said, ad smiled at Mun.

"Bye Mun." I said to her, after our classes were over. We met in the parking lot. Everyone except Jimin and I were going home.Ugh, we had detention. Jimin would drive me back after detention, so it wasn't that bad.

"Bye guys." Jimin said.

We noticed that Areum was smiling, but Kook wasn't. That couldn't be good. What must've happened? We didn't get a chance to ask them because all of us were busy. All of us except, Tae, who was busy fuming because he had to sit through an hour long lecture of Chemistry.

They all left. And it was time for detention. When we entered the detention room, there were two more kids sitting inside. We didn't know who they were. So, we walked past them to the end of the classroom, and took two seats. Jimin and I were planning on completing our Spanish assignment together. We both took out our laptops, when Mrs. Manoban entered. We stood up to greet her.

She gestured for us to sit down and we did. She was an English teacher. Very pretty for her age, quite frankly. Her daughter, Lalisa Manoban went to the same high school too. Although I haven't seen her in the time I've spent here. I've heard she was very pretty too.

"Hyunho-ah." Jimin said, making sure it was just us both who could hear.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"What are your plans tonight?" 

"Uhm, I was planning on going out with the girls. Why?"

"Uhh. Would you like to come over to my house?"

"WHAT?!" I almost shouted, but Jimin was quick and sly enough to cover my mouth before anyone heard me.

"Ayy, quietly. I just asked. You don't have to if you don't want to." Jimin said.

"No no, I do wanna come. It just took me by surprise. I mean, it's your parents."

"Oh, they don't know about you. I was planning on telling them together. Today?"

"Oh, okay." Although I really had a bad feeling about it. What if they hated me? What if they couldn't control their thirst?!

Just as if he had read my thoughts," Don't worry. They're very open to humans. And they don't have a problem with the blood."

"They don't?"

"No. They're both doctors. With years of practice."

Oh that was a relief.

"Ok, I'll come tonight." I said, a bit cheerful.

"Bring Mun and Areum too. Kook and Tae might like it."

"Haha of course!"
