ted tries to get your attention
- now ted had always been a bold one
- and he was absolutely worshipped by all the nerds in the school
- especially after he "stole" samantha's undies that time and let boys pay to see them
- but with you he really wanted to make you fall magically in love with him
- so he tried e v e r y t h i n g to make him seem confident and manly and bold
- from sliding up to you in the hallways with a devilish smirk, leaning against the lockers and trying to charm his way to your heart
- to opening your side gate and letting your dog out so he could rescue it and bring it back to you
- that one was kinda annoying tho...
- needless to say you were curious as to what he was doing
- so you approached his friends one day to see what was up
- "what's the deal with your friend?"
- "who, ted? oh he's just trying to impress you. he sucks, huh?"
- "it's cute." you stated and they looked at you, dumbfounded
- so the next day, when he tried to come up to you in the hall, prowling his way up to you like a lion (not really though, more like a wobbly giraffe baby)
- you let him come over
- "hellooooo y/n"
- "hi ted." you chuckled
- "so I was thinking, y'know... you and me, italian food, candlelit dinner. I got it all set out alright, you'll be swept off your feet baby"
- you burst out laughing
- he was kinda confused but also embarrassed, thinking you thought he was weird or something
- "you know, ted," you said as you began to come back around from your laughing fit, "you really don't have to try so hard to get my attention"
- "really? you don't care for my stylish demeanour and bold acts of admiration?"
- "I must admit, they're always funny to watch, but no you don't need to do all that stuff to get me to go out with you" you chuckled
- "so you do wanna go out with me?"
- you laughed again
- he really didn't get it did he?
- "yes, ted, I do"
- he then proceeded to jump up and down and fling his arms about with excitement
- finally he scored a pretty one!!
