I'm kissing Eva and I realize, I want her to stay with me for the rest of my life. I'd choose Eva over any girl. I bring my right hand down to her butt and squeeze it. She gasps in surprise and I smirk, leaving my eyes closed. I bring my mouth back to hers right after and it doesn't take very long for her to kiss back. This feels so right. Me, being here with her. I'm not just Ace the bad boy jock who doesn't want anyone near him. I'm Ace who's dating the quiet girl who never wants to open up.

We pull away and we're both breathing heavily. I still have my right hand on her butt and my left arm around her waist. She has her arms around my neck still and she starts playing with my hair. It surprisingly feels really nice.

"Hmm, I like you playing with my hair." I say in content. She smiles at me and I smile back. I put my forehead against hers. For a second we just sit there, foreheads together, trying to catch our breath, her still playing with my hair.

"Eva?"

"Yeah Ace?"

"I'm glad you decided you want to be my girlfriend. I want you beside me for everything. I know we've only started being friends like a week ago, but this feels right." She smiles the biggest smile she's ever smiled, and I know, I'm falling for her.

"I feel the same way Ace." Now I'm smiling as big as I've ever smiled.

She tugs on my hair and keeps playing with it. She lays her head on my shoulder and puts her face into my neck. I hold her as closely as I possibly can, loving the fact that she's mine. I put  my hands on the back of her thighs and pull her up. She wraps her legs around my waist, and I sit under the tree. She sits in my lap, laying on my shoulder. I hug her and I feel her smile into my neck. She keeps playing with my hair and I smirk. One day, I will marry this girl.

After about half an hour of us sitting here like this, I decide we should go eat. Eva's fallen asleep however, so I carry her bridal style to the car. Whenever I sit her in the passengers side seat, she wakes up.

"We're going to eat, buckle in please."

"You said please! Wow, that's a first." She laughs and I roll my eyes, laughing with her.

"I want what's mine to be safe and protected." She blushes and I smirk at her, yet again.

I shut her door and go to my side. While I'm leaving the parking lot, I put my hand on her thigh. She puts her hand over mine and I can't help but smile. Hopefully we don't wreck because she's pretty distracting.

"Where are we going to eat?" She asks after about five minutes.

"Not sure. Where do you want to eat?"

"It doesn't matter." I decide to be a pain in the butt.

"I didn't think there was such a restaurant. Where do you find this eating establishment?" She laughs and uses her free hand to smack me playfully in the shoulder. I laugh at her and we pull into my house.

"What are we doing back here?"

"Did you forget you don't have any pants or shorts on?" I smirk at her, like always, and she goes red.

"Oops." We get inside and decide to just have lunch here. My mom left a note on the kitchen counter saying that she took Maddie to go have a play date with one of her friends, and that my dad was at one of his friends house helping him with something.

"We have the house to ourselves." I look up from the note to see Eva has changed into short blue jean shorts and another one of my t-shirts. She's tied it up with a hair tie to keep it from being too long.

"Sounds great!" I walk over to her and wrap my arms around her waist. She giggles and I bend down so my mouth is near her ear.

"Have I ever told you that you look really hot in my t-shirts?" I can bet her face is red.

She stands on her tip toes so that she now has her mouth near my ear.

"I'll be sure to wear your t-shirts then." I smirk and pull away just enough to kiss her on the forehead.

"What do you want to eat?"

"Food." I roll my eyes and smirk.

"No duh. What kind of food?"

"The kind you eat." I smack my forehead and she grins at me. I decide to cook grilled cheese since she's being difficult.

Half way through eating our grilled cheese, Nate texts me telling me to come over for something important. I'm worried, because Nate's important isn't some dumb problem he can't seem to solve.

You:
I can't dude, Eva's here.

Nate:
Why is she over there? Just hurry up.

You:
It's a long story.

You:
What's going on?

Nate:
Ok, so bring your "long story", with you.

Nate:
Just hurry up and you'll see.

You:
Fine!

With that, me and Eva leave.

"Where are we going?" She seems genuinely curious.

"To Nate's house."

"Okay." We stay silent for a few minutes. And as if she can sense that I'm worried, she leans over and kisses me on the cheek. I smile, but not my usual happy smile.

"What's wrong Ace?" She says it soothingly, trying to get me to stop worrying. And it works, I'm not as worried as before.

"Nate said it was an emergency. He never says anything is an emergency. When he asks me to come over, he always tells me why. So I'm worried." That's the most honest I've been with someone other than Nate and my family in a really long time.

"It's okay Ace. Whatever it is, I'm here to help." She starts playing with my hair again, and I instantly stop gripping the steering wheel. I had no idea I was even doing that.

"There. That's better." She says and smiles at me.

We pull up and get out. The image in front of me makes me instantly freeze, and I feel Eva tense up beside me.
