"What did we say about the the social media" Pastor Kay growled at his daughter.

On their way home, while the driver drove pastor Kay and his wife Mama Jane to the house, pastor Kay had gone through Facebook and saw his daughter's update.

Zion, pastor Kay's daughter is a second year Law student in a private university. After she got admitted into the university, she had changed from her former way of life, from being an ideal church girl to a fashionista. She now goes around clubbing and was ready to pursue modelling as a career.

" Take it easy on her" Mama Jane whimpered at her husband. " You've been too hard on her of recent, she's now an adult, we have to be careful not to intrude her privacy."

"For real? That's your take on this matter?" Pastor Kay glared at his wife. Well I'm not surprised, you both are birds of the same feather. But listen and listen good, I will not, I repeat I won't have you both smear my reputation. You know how respectable I am in this society, everybody knows me for my righteousness and holiness life style, I won't have anybody not even my family stain my white garment. Have I made myself clear? "He said speaking at his daughter as he storms out of the living room.

"Zion" mama Jane called out softly to her daughter who had been quiet for a while. "You don't have to go too extreme you know, I am not going to stop you from pursuing your dreams, but at the same time you shouldn't forget you're a pastor's kid. My dear, don't take your father's words for it, he doesn't really understand. You know he's a man, so I understand you better uhn. Just know you'll always have my support" she concluded patting her shoulder.

"Thanks mum" Zion said and walked into her room.

"Kayode" Mama Jane called, as she enters the room " I just feel we should give her some privacy and... "

"Please" Pastor Kay interrupted. "I'm not interested in this talk anymore. After all you've made your contradictory statement to her, so what's the point" Pastor Kay said in annoyance.

"Alright" mama Jane shrugged. "I've got some other issue to discuss anyways. It's about appointing a new sister's fellowship president, of which I've got a deadline for. With what happened today, Toyin is out of the list already and the next person I can think of is Evelyn. What do you think?"

"Evelyn is a very good option, in fact I would have preferred her to Toyin even if she hadn't mess up."

"Evelyn Thomas" mama Jane mentioned smiling. " She's such a nice and virtuous young lady I can vouch for anywhere anytime."

"Her commitment is top notch, always willing to serve God. I wish Zion could go back to being like that" Said Pastor Kay.

"Do I have your approval" she said ignoring his last statement.

"Sure go ahead, I know she'll in a way serve as a good example to young ladies in church."

The following morning, Lucky had walked Evelyn to the main road where she'd get a cab to take her back to her hostel.
Evelyn, after freshening up, sat quietly at the edge of her bed, head bow, thinking about what happened in church the previous night.

What if I was the one called out? What would people think of me? What will those looking up to me think. Those were the questions running through Evelyn's mind when she heard a knock at the door. It was Tina, her roommate.

Tina is a runs babe, in fact she just got back from a club house where she partied throughout the night with her friends and sugar daddies.

"Sup Evelyn" Tina said with the breath of alcohol oozing from her mouth.

"Welcome" Evelyn said reluctantly trying not to inhale the breath while she opened the door to her.

"You didn't come home last night, what happened" Tina ask, as she was trying to put off her high heels.

"What do you mean I didn't come home, are you not the one just coming in this morning".

"Ahah, Evelyn I left this house around past twelve am this morning, when did you get in then?" Tina asked confused.

"Well I had to stay back in church to have some quiet time. I didn't know you'd not be at home, I would have preferred the house."

"Oh ok. You should have called to inform me still."

"Sorry" Evelyn said trying to cut the conversation.

"Evelyn, what is the matter? Are you upset? You've not been responding well to me since I came in."

"Tina, I'm sorry. It's just that I can't still comprehend what happened in church last night. It's so saddening."

"Did someone die" Tina anxiously asked.

"No, God forbid. Hmmm it's my HOD o,he was caught fornicating with a member of the drama unit."

"Bro Paul? that spiritual brother?" Tina blurted .

"Exactly why I'm still finding it hard to believe. I was so disappointed. In fact that's the reason I stayed back in church to pray for him and also for myself so I won't fall. Nobody is above mistake you know" Evelyn lied.

"Wonder shall never end. I don't trust those spiritual brothers an inch, they are all full of hypocrisy. The only person I trust about spiritual matters is you and that is because I've seen the kind of person you are. In fact I can stand to say boldly anywhere that my roommate is a virgin. I envy you seriously, I also want to be close to God like you. You're so disciplined and modest, if not for the situation I find myself, I should also take after your footsteps, but I'm the bread winner of my family and I also have no one to sponsor my studies. I'm not comfortable with the life I'm living sincerely" Tina said sobbing."

"Tina, I understand what you're going through, but you know Jesus is still able to sponsor your studies without you indulging in those things."

"Hmm, Evelyn, are you trying to preach to me again" she said cleaning her face. "Sorry I got too emotional. What has Jesus been looking at since all these while, see, no Jesus has my time; I'll just fend for myself and my family" she said as she stood up to off her clothes.

"But Tina..."

"Ohhh what have I done this morning. Evelyn, I'm not interested in your sermon now please, I'll listen later" Tina complained as she shut the bathroom's door on her self.

Few minutes later, Evelyn's phone rang. It was Pastor Kay!

"Hello Evelyn, how are you" pastor Kay spoke on the other end. "

"Good morning sir" she said wondering why he called. "Can you meet me at the church in a couple of minutes. Someone is here and demands to see you, he said his name is Lucky."

"Lucky!" Evelyn exclaimed.
