It was almost 11 pm, Rudra sat at the shore like everyday. He heard someone called his name. The most familiar tone, actually he waited long to listen that sweet voice. He turned back, Sarika stood there with tearful eyes. Rudra got onto his foot and staring at her. His heart raced, breath stuck at his throat but he was not surprised because he knew that it has to happen one day. Sarika ran toward him, locked her arms around his neck and hugged him.
"I'm so sorry Rudra... really.. really sorry...", she whispered at his ear with her painful tone.
"Ushhh...I Love You", he cut her "No need of any apology. I missed you lot", tightened his grip around her waist and kissed her passionately.
At the ends of this world, the cold water soothing their foot, soft breeze from the sea playing with their hair, the terrific roars of the ocean plays a rhythmic music, full moon with his beloved stars radiating their shine on them and the whole planets, comets, stars, galaxies watching them from far.
The End.
***********
"At-last... completed the book", I said
"Oh! Then what is the end? Did they met or else parted away forever?", Mera asked curiously.
"Um..., they met and became forever", I chuckled.
"Aww.... It's so cute, hah? I love this story"
"Yeah. But I still don't get it..."
"What you don't understand?", Mera cut before I finish my statement.
"In many love stories, a girl and a boy meet, love each other and then part away again meet, love, part away again meet, love, part away and at the end they become forever", I explained
"Um... OK then, What you don't get in it?" she repeated
"Why they part away with simple and silly misunderstandings? Why don't they sit and sort out?", I glanced.
"Because that is a story", she giggled.
"Yeah", I laughed, "This cycle never happen in reality".
"Which cycle?" she asked while clearing all her stuff and preparing to sleep.
"That... the cycle of meet, love, part away again meet love, part away and process continues", I giggled.
"Who knows?... destiny plays different games", she yawned and laid on her bed.
Yes, destiny plays different games. After reading these types of books, I also started believing in destiny, fate like things and became a little dramatic also. I knew all these were far from reality but it felt good in my imaginations. I didn't have any problem about dreaming the stories of destiny, actually I love it.
"If you are done with your work, will you please switch off the light?", Mera interrupted my thoughts.
"Sure, I am also sleepy", switched off the light and laid on my bed. "Good night Mera".
"Good night", she replied.
I closed my eyes but my brain still trying to imagine the visuals of the last part of the story, that sea, breeze, sounds, moon and stars. How it actually look? I couldn't frame it completely. Was it really look beautiful or Was I over thinking? I slipped into sleep with all these thoughts.
