"Chai... stop it", Kiran yelled. I chuckled silently and repeated the same.

Kiran and Savi finishing last painting work for a paper made poster for a competition. I completed my part and hopped on desk. Rom busy in his work. I felt boring so I evilly disturbing Kiran. I tapped on her leg, spot which is near to my foot. Dirt of my shoes spoiling her pants and my taps giving small movements to her and disturbed her work.

"Chai.... stop it.... you are spoiling my white trouser", she yelled with anger. I didn't reply to her and stopped my actions.

Varun came to my mind suddenly. I'm trying hard to avoid his thoughts but still he's poking in my mind every time. I remembered happy times with him.

Unfaded Memories

I was in Varun's living room. Vivek had 7 years old neighbourhood friend named Pratik. Vivek promised him to help him in his school art project. So Vivek, Pratik and I spread the large white sheet on floor and started painting.

"Vivek, Do you ever paint before?" I asked.

"I used to fill paints to pictures in sketch book in my schooling. What about you?" he asked painting green colour to leaves at opposite corner.

"I couldn't even properly filled colours to mickey mouse..... now I'm doing this", I said moving my neck to my sides. It started aching already. I'm painting light pink shade on one side.

"I painted for Mickey few days back.... My teacher gave me a chocolate also", Pratik said with bright smile in his cute voice. He's painting light red shade beside Vivek's portion. Meanwhile Varun came in sea green coloured casual shirt.

"How long will it take?" he asked and slumped on couch behind me.

"I don't know", I huffed. I changed my sitting position as I felt numbness of left leg.

"Look at you", Varun chuckled. I checked myself once. My hands filled with colours, my dress stained and hair became messy. Pratik's appearance is lot better than mine.

"It's really very hard... Whom gave this work to a 7 years kid?" I annoyed. I carefully tugged my messy strands behind my ear without staining my face with my fingers. Varun drew all my hair strands and plugged them by adjusting my hair clip.

I throw my head back and placed on his knee. I was looking him up side down. "Thank you", I said and tapped his nose with my coloured finger.

"It's okay", he said with smile and pulled my cheek. He rubbed his nose and removed the colour.

I turned back to art and he dripped in his mobile. We continued one more hour with talks and laughs. We completed almost and I tired.

"I'm done", I huffed and leaned to couch. Varun happily laid on couch resting his head on armrest and feet on other armrest and using his mobile plugging earphones.

"Just finish it", Vivek asked.

"It's horrible", I said shaking my head.

"Complete it", Vivek ordered in grumpy tone. I hate orders but looking at that puppy eyed cute boy I started again. I quickly completed my remaining part.

I turned back and started brushing Varun shirt sleeve with pink colour paint. I wanted to disturb him. How could he lay in comfort? Here we are working this hard.

"Chaitra... stop it", he said casually without looking at me. He slightly jerked his hand. I didn't stop my art on his shirt.

"Chaitra.... Stop it.... you are spoiling my favourite shirt", he yelled raising and unplugging ear phones.
