My life is over. Why did this happen to me! Of all things me and Natalie had to get in a fight over, it’s a stupid crush! Are you serious! I’ve just come back from confessing to Natalie about my crush over her soul mate. She yelled at me and now I’m back home crying my heart out. Everything would've been fine if I hadn't told her! Why did I tell her!!  Because i knew if I didn’t I would’ve killed myself from keeping it all down!

Anyways, it’s not like I have a chance against Nat. She’s gorgeous with her chocolate brown skin and dark fluffy hair. Her style always represents her personality and she never fails to be funny. She’s also one of the craziest people I know; no wonder Laurens her BFF.

The next thing I know, I’m staring at my ceiling and light is shining through my window. I must have cried myself to sleep. I haul myself out of bed at look myself in the mirror; my hair looks the birds nest, my eyes are extremely puffy and my cheeks look like someone spilt water on a portrait. Sighing, I get dressed and walk downstairs. Luckily, my parents know nothing about my breakdown yesterday and wish me luck at school.

As I walk to school, I wonder I should do. I decide one thing; there’s no way I’m speaking to Natalie after she screamed at me.

            I was so lost in thought that I bumped in to someone and fall in the snow! I look up, OMG, it’s Jason!!

“Sorry Karishma! Are you okay?” Jason asks.

OMG, Jason is talking to my right now! He’s offering me his hand! What do I say! What should I do!

“Karishma…can you hear me?”

Oops, I still haven’t said anything. He must think I’m completely insane.

“Oh, hey Jason! Who’s the dork in the snow?” A very familiar voice asks.

            I know that voice … it’s my BFF Paige!

            “Hey! Paige! It’s me!” I yell.

            “Oh… sorry Karishma! Need some help?” She says as she pulls me out of the snow.

            “Um…I’ll see you guys later!” Jason says as he hurries off.

            “What was that all about?” Paige asks.

            “Ughhh, you know what it was about Paige!” I exclaim as I brush the snow off my jacket.

            “Oh right! You like him! I forgot.”

            Of course Paige forgot! She just laughed the whole thing off when I told her I had a crush on him! But she got serious after a while and was the one who suggested that I should tell Natalie before she finds out from someone else.

            “Um…Paige can I talk to you?”

            “Sure. What’s up?”

            “Remember how you told me to tell Natalie that I liked Jason? Yeah, well I told her and I didn’t go so well. She yelled at me and said she never wanted to speak to me ever again. I’ve already made up my mind about not talking to her but…”

            Brrrrrring! The stupid bell had to ring at that minute!

            “Look Karishma, don’t worry about it too much…we’ll figure this out. I’ll see you later!”

            Great now I’m all alone! At least I’ll get to think a bit more. Natalie shouldn’t have yelled at me! I did the right thing by telling her! It’s her fault for getting all upset! But I did know she liked Jason. Ughhh what am I going to do!

            I look around…it’s strangely quiet for a high school! Wait first period started! I have to get to class! And with that I sprint down the hall toward my first class of the day.

            The first half of the day went by so fast that before I know it, its lunch. The dreaded lunch has arrived. This is the time where I have to pretend nothing has happened and talk to Natalie. No! I am not talking to Natalie! I’ll just pretend she’s not there and talk to everyone else.

            I grab my lunch and hurry over to our regular table. I’m the first one there so I sit and wait.

            “Hey…um, Karishma.”

            I spin around and there stands the person that created all this drama…it’s Jason!

            “Oh…umm hey Jason!”

            “Hey…I just wanted to make sure you’re ok…”

            “Oh… yeah I’m fine!”

            “Ok…well see you around.” He says as he walks away.

            When I turn around I see that Lauren has joined me at the table and is glaring at me with her electric green eyes.

            I also notice that Paige is sitting beside me and is staring back with her big hazel eyes.       

Uh oh… is all I can think.
