The corona virus effect had become so serious that the President of Ghana his Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo pronounced a partial lock down.
As kasoa being the most most stubborn town (I might say) it was added to the lockdown.

We JHS students were to go to school.
We went to school for a week which was quite exciting since there were no annoying Juniors(LOL they ache).

Afterwards his Excellency the President spoke saying that there would be no school, and also he banned a lot of activities.
I personally was glad with the banned of clubs and bars.
Since that was the major source of noise pollution in my community.
Well what he said that really amazed us was the Free Water he said.

I asked my self if water supplier s are really going to make it free of charge.

The next day I together with my three siblings went to fetch water. To my surprise they charge d the same amount but what could we have said when we had no say?
We went ahead to fetched the water.
We went twice and on the third one as we were about leaving the house, a woman who lived on the next two plots on our left called.

Well I couldn't recognise her since she hardly came out and a merely know the people around. She told us to come to fetch the water at her place because it's free there. "Wooow!!
We have a good person in our midst and at least it would reduce our expenditure" I thought.
We didn't hesitate to start fetching water there.

We used to go there to fetch water once in a week. We always make sure to fill our barrels. There were some people who turned the place into their durbar grounds and were always there.

In all, there was a taxi driver with his family who lived opposite the woman's house. They were very close because the woman used to sit with her and his family and chat.

The free water was for three months. On the last week, my daddy planned that we would full every barrel since the free water was coming to an end.

My sister went to knock at the woman's gate. There was no answer so she came back. Later in the afternoon Sister Ama a young beautiful lady that stays opposite our house came knocking. My mom responded and asked her why she was here.

She told my mom the woman that allowed us to fetch the free water had traveled living her house key to the taxi driver. The next thing we saw was the taxi drivers daughters(approximately twenty years and above) going to fetch the water.

We saw it as an opportunity so we hurried to take our bowls to fetch the water. As we got there the younger daughter told us that the time is due and the water is no longer free and moreover the woman told them not to allow any one to fetch the water.

My mom was annoyed and told them that the time was not due and it will in 5days time.
She also told them to keep it to themselves.

In the evening their mother the wife of the taxi driver came to our home. She called out for my mom. When my mom came out, she showed her childish attitude by murmuring and talking without listening to my mom's side of the story.
My mom tried to explain but it was to no avail. The taxi driver's wife walked swiftly away.
I laughed when my mom was narrating the story.
