...5 years later...

Debbie's POV.

"Debbie Steele, you are in deep trouble because you did something people have tried doing most of their lives," Her face was very serious. Her platinum blonde hair was neatly styled in a neat bun to show off her angelic features, her long gorgeous legs were crossed as she leaned back in the chair facing me with her hand intertwined and nestling on her lips. Silence washed over us. "You, Debbie Steele, made a book to die for."

The studio erupted with cheers and smiles broke out on both our faces. "You made Titanic and The Notebook look like amateur novels with this masterpiece, Lover's Fall. So give us the tea Debbie, what we all came for, What inspired you to write, Lover's Fall?"

"Lover's Fall is based on a true story. A few years ago, two teenagers fell in love and went through so much just so they could tie their souls but in the end, one of them ends up letting go thinking it was best," I explained as if it was an everyday question and mainly because I practiced what I was going to say before I went on live television and made a mockery of myself if I broke down.

"Very nice, but we all know that's not the question on everyone's' hot seat. The real question is, will we be getting a Lover's Fall part Deux?" she questioned looking keenly at my reaction and I forced a smile as usual.

"Well, all I can say is that it depends on faith. If Lila and Jacob ever reunite and spear a few minutes to tell me about it, I assure you there will be a book two. And if I just cooked up ideas in my head, I can't promise it will have the same effect as book one."

Perfectly said Debbie, just as you practiced.

"Not what we were looking for but promising. So, folks, our prayers go out to Lila and Jacob to stick to the plan and finally tie their souls. Speaking of souls being tied, you haven't spilled the tea fully yet Debbie. I am just wondering if Parker has decided to put a ring on it." she said gesturing to my hand with the sparkling diamond ring.

I released the best laugh I could find covering the ring with my other hand when she mentioned my current boyfriend. The ring was the only thing I have left of him and I always wore it, It was beautiful and expensive and often times people mistook it for an engagement ring.

Even Parker thinks am secretly engaged to someone else because I won't tell him about my past. It's just that I don't trust him. We've only been together for 6 months.

"I am not so sure about that," I smiled forcing the words between my teeth so only I could hear. "I don't know what he's waiting for," I told them.

"Well we can't wait to get our invitations to the wedding." she giggled and cheers rose again. After the interview with Michelle Tv, I was stuck signing books for over two hours, not that I was complaining. I loved that I was living my dream as a famous author. Well, one of my dreams.

I was in the middle of signing my 300th book when the person before me suddenly said my name. My head bounced up and I couldn't believe it. I haven't seen her in five years. Her blonde hair was in a high ponytail and she wore a little makeup.
