Debbie's POV
I can't believe it’s been a month living with Archer. We have gotten respectively close but not too much because I still haven’t forgiven him for leaving me a few years back. Our daily routine consisted of him making breakfast, going to work until twelve, coming home, and going into his office to work again then coming down for dinner I made and going our separate ways to sleep.
But last night made today so different. When he came home yesterday, he looked so tired and stressed. His hair was messy and the sleeves of his shirt were rolled up exposing all his muscles. He looked more attractive than usual lately and I don't know if it was because my time of the month was near, but I finished two days ago and the sexual urge was still there.
I haven't been touched sensually in 5 years and the sudden urges I had were unusual. But he made it worse because yesterday after I finished making dinner, I went to call him.
He is usually in his office but last night he wasn't so I went to his room. I saw that man in his birthday suit while he was drying his hair and something in me clicked.
Every part of him looked edible.
I ran before he could see me all the way to my room breathing as if I just ran a marathon. I was in a grey, cupcake printed, skimpy short silk, short and white a tank top, but that didn't stop me from sweating uncontrollably.
I squeezed my legs together as my womanhood throbbed with need. The need for Archer Magnum. I could hardly sleep last night because when I closed my eyes, my vision was filled with his naked body and I knew I was scarred for life.
"Have anything in mind to do today?" he asked when I entered the kitchen, phone in hand the next day, completely exhausted from no sleep and being horny all night.
I groaned loudly in response. I was sexually frustrated as fuck.
"I take that as a no," he chuckled slightly, coming over to me. "Can I help you with anything?" he asked leaning on the island close to me. My sense of smell was immediately filled with his aftershave and my eyes trailed up and down his navy blue business suit.
"Why do you look like you want to eat me?" he laughed, intending to make a joke.
"Why do you look edible?" I retorted without thinking and slapped my hand over my mouth in shock as soon as I said it. He stared at me just as surprised as I was then before I knew it, I was sitting on the island with my legs separated by his body, and his hand clutching around my neck sensually.
"You took the words from my mouth," he whispered in my ear nibbling on my earlobe. A shiver ran up my spine and I let out a small whimper when he grinded his boner against my womanhood.
Debbie what are you doing?! Get that man away from you.
Suddenly my phone blared out next to us causing him to pull away as if I had burned him. OH FUCKING COME ON!!!!
What?!
I internally groaned when I saw that it was my father calling. "Hello, Daddy."
"Debbie," his voice came out as a whisper.
"Dad, are you okay?" I suddenly asked. Archer sensed my worry and came closer.
"It's your grandmother?" I suddenly felt scared, I didn't want to hear the rest of it. And nothing made me emotionally prepared for what he said next. "She passed away last night i-."
I didn't have time to hear the rest before everything went black.

Archer's POV.
I let out a frustrated sigh for the millionth time as I sat on the floor outside of Debbie's door. She has been in there for days crying her eyeballs out and I felt so broken for her.
Nana took care of me when my parents died and when I heard about her passing, I was devastated so you can imagine Debbie, who was way closer to her than I was.
After she passed out in the kitchen I almost lost it. It drives me crazy when she does things like that and it scares me even more. I haven't been to work since she fainted and I haven't seen her either.
Grayson informed me that he was going through the same with Missy and we should give them the time and space they needed to recover from the news. But it's been almost two weeks and even I haven't gotten over the news.
I was in my office when I heard her screaming over and over again and I couldn't take it anymore.
"Debbie," I softly called, not hearing any response. I used the key I had to open the door and was shocked to see glass everywhere while she was curled up in a ball in the center of the room crying like there was no tomorrow.
I stepped over the glasses going over to her skinny figure. It was as if she had given up with life. She looked dead.
Her red hair was in an unruly knot on the top of her head and there were deep dark spots under her eyes. Her eyes were red and puffy and she had lost weight.
"She's gone," she whispered. "She's really gone."
"I'm so sorry, Debear." She didn’t respond but instead closed her eyes and began sobbing again. "You need to be strong for the rest of your family."
"I've been strong for too long."
"You can't give up now."
"Give up?!" she angrily screamed standing up. "I gave up on a happy life the minute I found that note you left. You walked out of my life to leave me alone to suffer! You're the reason why I’m like this, this is all your fault! You made me this way! Weak! Helpless! Lonely." she screamed punching my chest angrily and I let her as she screamed in my face continuously.
I hugged her to my chest restraining her from moving. She tried to fight but I didn't allow her to get free and she finally gave up slumping. It pained me to see her this way. Broken.
I sunk to my knees with her in my arms crying.
"Why?" she asked a few minutes later after she calmed down. My teeth clenched. "Why did you leave me, Archer?"
"I-I was scared you’d forget me. I left to protect us. You had already made your decision to go to Northwestern University and leave me. Then you almost died and it did something to me. I thought you blamed me for what happened even though I blamed myself already. After three years I realized I couldn't do without you. But you already moved on and you were happy. "
"I was far from happy."
"I know now. And I will do whatever it takes to earn back your love because we belong together. I never stopped loving you."
Long still silence.
"I want to go home?" she asked suddenly.
"You know you can't with Wayne on the loose."
"I know. It's just for a week. I want to be with my family. You can send as many bodyguards as you want. I want to be with them."
"Okay, we'll leave tomor-"
"No, I want to go alone. I want to give us a break even though we have nothing going on. I need to think about what you just said and mourn with my family." she explained and I was pained.
"But they're my family too," I softly reminded her.
"Please Archer," she begged, looking up at me with pleading blue puppy dog eyes.
I clenched my jaw looking away.
“Okay, but you must come back."
