Caroline sat in the same spot for almost an hour. She had gone through seventeen books, and five physics magazines. She yawned and stretched her back and neck after such a feat, and sat next to Spencer. Derek and Prentiss were sitting next to each other on the other couch, facing them. She curled into Spencer and yawned. He rubbed her arm.
"How was reading? You did very well." Caroline smile and melted into his side.
"I just read. Did you know that if you yelled for over eight and a half years, you would have produced enough energy to produce a cup of coffee?" She looked up at him, expecting him to be pleased.
Spencer just nodded. "Yeah, I know. I've read most of the books I have in here." Caroline grumbled something under her breath before trying again.
"Well, did you know that ancient babylon, everyone felt so strongly about their beer that if you were caught watering it down, you were either drowned in the barrel or forced to drink it until you died?" She felt pleased with herself when Spencer didn't have an answer.
"I refuse to be beaten by a child," he muttered. Caroline stuck her tongue out and went to sit in between Prentiss and Derek who were laughing their heads off.
"I don't think i've ever met someone who knew something that Reid didn't. Way to go, girl." Derek patted her on the back.
She felt good. Together, she and Reid could quiz each other.
