Caroline and Reid had stayed up all night quizzing each other. Reid had silently claimed victory when Caroline passed out on his lap. He had tucked her into his bed, and settled down next to her. They only got a couple hours of sleep before they were woken up by Reid's phone. He answered groggily as he stumbled clumsily around his room trying to get changed. Caroline slid a sweatshirt over her t-shirt and kept her jeans on. She slid her converse over her socked feet and waited by the door as Spencer gathered his computer and briefcase.
They rode silently in the car, and it wasnt until the reached the bureau, Caroline asked the question. "New case?" by the time she was answered, they were seated around a table. The team was gathered around them. There was a new case.
"Okay. I'm sorry to wake you up, but we have a big one here." Garcia clicked her mouse, and pictures were brought up on the screen at the head of the table. "Last night, twenty-one year old, Madalyne Grey came across a vat of bodies." A gruesome picture showed up on the screen. Hundreds of dead bodies were piled up in a circle around a deep pool of what looked like blood.
"It looks like a sadist, or some kind of sadist ritual," Derek gave his insight, and everyone agreed. "Draining the bodies of blood may be what they want. Mixing it for the devil, or some god."
