"Are you ready?" Charlotte's voice comes through the phone.

"Of course she's ready, she's been planning this for how many weeks now," Natalia retorts. It's been two years since I met Jason and the events of me almost dying multiple times. I've been living with him and his nephew Oli, my adorable hero ever since then and there's nowhere else I'd rather be.

"Natalia is right, I am ready. I have to do it, I want to do it," I answer as I wait in line to pay for one apple pie and a small cake.

"You have Oli's blessing and he loves you so much just like Jason. There is no way your man is going to say no to you," Camryn pipes in.

"And if he does, don't worry, we'll do the ass-kicking for you," Charlotte adds.

"Thanks ladies, you always have my back," I say to them feeling touched. From the time Eiichi tried to kidnap me and Cora tried to kill me, all three women have grown close to me as my friends, real friends.

Charlotte we've been close since the beginning with her being Jason's best friend and with her openly wanting to be friends. She's one of the kindest souls I've ever met not to mention that she does not take shit from anyone though mainly it's directed towards Jax, Jason, and her brother.

Natalia, Natalia is an interesting one. I still don't know why she was so intrigued with me when we met while she was working my case but now but she has a special place in my heart. I heard from Nash, her and Jason decided to keept it to themselves, the day I almost died in the water, they were the first two to jump in and pull me out.

Both of them were in the hospital for a bit because of hypothermia but I guess they didn't want to mention it so I don't feel guilty. I've kept that little bit of information to myself but one day I'll tell them both I knew the truth all along and how grateful I am for what they did.

And Camryn, oh Camryn. Lord knows that girl needed a lot of help. She needed a lot of social help and to learn that always speaking your mind isn't a bad thing, that you need to know the right place and time, otherwise you can get your ass kicked.

The last time she did that when we went out, long story short, she almost ended up in a bar fight. But I did get to know her over the last two years and besides that part of her I do value her as a person. As for Cleo, we're okay but I guess things are still a little awkward between us with her being involved in my kidnapping but one day we'll be able to brush this behind us.

"Girls, I'll call you later. Charlotte you're okay with taking Oli for the long weekend?" I ask her as I step up to pay. If all goes well I'll be celebrating with my fiance.

"For sure, just drop him off tomorrow," she answers.

"Thank you so much, I'll talk to you all later," I tell them as I hang up. I pay for my items, get them bagged, before going back to my car, the spring breeze brushing my hair. The last two years were chaotic, it was one thing after another. I had to attend three different court cases for Eiichi, Cora, and Andgela, each one bringing some type of new evidence that needed to be reviewed and extended the trials.

But two weeks ago, they finally reached a deliberation and they were all found to be guilty and at the end of February they're all going to be sentenced and I fucking can't wait to see that. It took a while for me to recover but I feel like I became so much stronger, after all, I cheated death a couple of times, it just means it wasn't my time yet.

It takes me a good ten minutes to drive back home, the plan tonight is to have a nice dinner with the three of us before Jason and I go back to the cottage he took us to two years ago though this time we'll be celebrating our anniversary. When it actually came by in February we didn't have time to do anything, both of us too busy with our jobs but with this four-day long weekend, we can have some time to ourselves.
